Scratchbau der Sovereign of the Seas. Ausgehend vom Sergalbausatz wurden die Rumpflinien dem Stich von Payne angepasst und fast alle Zierteile wurden von Hand aus Birnenholz gefräst.

You brought back so much enjoyment to me. My great grandfather built one which I have inherited. She sits in a glass case at the family cabin up north.. It is the very ship that has caused me to live on a boat and travel the world. 25 years now and just getting started. Thank you so much for the fantastic job you did. Inspiring and created some great memories of why I became where I am today.

Yo estoy haciendo mi tercer navío ( Sovereing of de seas y no por asomo llego a su perfeccion. Er hat ein Kunstwerk gemacht, es sollte in einem Museum sein. Sie sind ein Meister des Modellierens. Herzlichen Glückwunsch, mein Hut ist vor Ihnen. Ich mache mein drittes Schiff (Sovereing of de Seas und bei weitem nicht hat es seine Perfektion erreicht.

Hi Max . I did not keep an hourly record, but it was many, many hours. The entire construction period was about 3 1/2 years

Hallo Anton Ich habe 3 1/2 Jahre für den Bau benötigt. Die Rumpfkonstruktion habe ich vom Plan von "Sergal" übernommen, aber teilweise dann abgeändert. Das Heck ist dem Gemälde von "Lely" nachgebildet. Die ganzen Dekorationen und Schnitzereien sind aus dem Buch von "Hendrik Busmann, Sovereign of the Seas", in deutscher Sprache. Die Takelage ist aus dem Buch von "R. C. Anderson, The Rigging of Ships in the Days of the Spritsail Topmast, 1600-1720". @@hubertmathis6257 Ausgehend vom Sergal (Mantua) Baukasten. Ist wohl kaum ein echter "scratch". Nichtsdestotrotz: schöne Arbeit.
