Hi, it's a real treat when we get snow like this! Last time was in 2010. It's pretty and fun and all will be gone by Saturday and that's OK with me!

The snow looks beautiful. I love the peacefulness when all the traffic is at a standstill and you can go outside and just enjoy the beauty of the trees and everything that is covered in white

Hi Kate, yes, we got some beautiful snow, last time we got this much was in 2010! It only lasted for 2 days but it sure was pretty!

Nice that it lasts long enough to enjoy and not to long to get tired of! Very pretty! Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

Hi Mari. Yes, this was a gorgeous scenery all around me! All of it is melting as the temps hit 50 today and going up into the 60's starting tomorrow. That's what I like about the snows here, here today gone tomorrow! Have a great weekend!

I'm not a huge fan of snow or any kind of wet weather, but I must say, this was beautiful. ;-)

Hi, yes, a real nice treat for us! Last time we had snow like this was in 2010 so it doesn't come often. When it comes it is gone in two days like this one did! Just long enough to enjoy it, make a video & take a few pictures.

Beautiful, just make sure it stays up there! One year when I was stationed in Goldsboro we got 4+ inches, I had 4 wheel drive on my truck and spent the whole day pulling people out of ditches, Made a boat load of money, I was by far the cheapest in town.

This is very unusual for us, last time we had snow like this was in 2010! Very beautiful but it is already melting. Temperature going into the 50's tomorrow and then 60's so all will be gone by the weekend!

Hi, not normal for us at all, last time we had this much snow was in 2010! This is a real treat, beautiful scenery, kids having a blast sledding and sliding down the hills! Everything is shut down so holiday it is. All of this will be gone by Saturday as the temps going back to normal (sunny & 60's).

Hi Basia you really have a winter's wonderland it is beautiful. To bad it won't last. They did you make any snow angels. That would add to it. Have fun .Joe

I'm working (hooray for cloud careers) but we got double that in Greensboro. Everything is closed of course. We've not even cleaned off the cars yet (subarus, we're both from up north too). I know I'm ready to go back to the beach and be warm and in the sun, even if I don't get a solid beep the whole time I'm walking. :) Stay safe and warm!

Yes, west and north of here got a lot more snow! This certainly is a gorgeous snow for you as well so enjoy it as it will be gone by the weekend! I am also looking forward to the next beach hunt!

H Dave, glad you don't have snow to look at where you are. This snow was absolutely beautiful, shut down everything in this city! Lasted all of 2 days, just the way I like it! Enough for a video and some pictures! I left my lighted balls in my trees and turned them on for all this snow, looked magical at night!

Yes it's beautiful but after a month or two not so much. Up north here I video the tracks on the sledding hills to see how far the sleds go and where they wipe out the most. Besides diving sledding hills are second for gold rings. Enjoy the snow Basia I hope it melts fast so you can get back on the beach gold!

Hi, this certainly was a treat, so beautiful! It all will be gone by Saturday as the normal temperature comes back tomorrow, upper 60's by Sunday! I bet you can find some awesome treasures on those sledding hills!

I love snow. And I live in Ohio so I see this stuff a lot. Two weeks ago we had over 10 inches.

Hi, I used to live up north and there was snow that fell and stayed. Down here in NC we don't get much, 1 inch of snow shuts down schools! This snow was pretty and melted in 2 days!

We do have a lot of snow as well!

Hi Catherine, this is not "normal winter" here in NC. When we get a pretty snow like this we certainly enjoy it. Neighborhood kids out sledding and having a blast. Good thing the snow will not last long, should be gone in a day or two and then back to normal, 50's & 60's! That's the way I like it!

I know what not getting plowed is like. We are the last house of 2 on our dead end street. They always stop about 2feet from our driveway. It looks like a winter wonderland. Absolutely beautiful. Christie

Basia Today it is warming up to the 40’s this week with rain later. It will ice up again but hopefully most of the snow will be gone. I love the wonderland look but not the bitter cold or the dirty slush.

Thank you Robert! I use Olympus Tough camera, waterproof and shatterproof (dropped it more than once on hard surfaces). I hold the camera in my hand, so no mountings.

Certainly happens everywhere. We were warned about this snow so not many reports f people being stranded but many accidents instead. Good thing this snow didn't last long as temperature climbed to the 50's and today to the 60's. It's all almost gone!

But it looks so pretty! I lived in Northern Montana for 7 years...I am not a snow person. Ha! Make a snow woman. 😁
