This was one of the first videos I saw back when I got in the band in middle school bruh. This is still one of the best SU videos imo cause of the intonation and crispness of the trumpets and even the tubas after the break plus the dynamic contrast.

I have to say in terms of trumpets, this is one of the first times they consistently play super C's over and over and sound clean [even with a bit of hangover]

Southerns trumpets are NOT 2 b phucked with. They're aggressive, loud, and can hit high notes I never believed were possible. They are definitely #1 amongst ALL other hbcu band trumpet lines. Southerns trumpets are bad yall.

Them trumpets are beasts!!!!! Did you hear them scream. We play Ice Cream Man and our scream but it sounds like all their trumpets scream. Only about 15 of ours scream. Those Tubas sound like they were playing from somewhere else and I lov that. Damn!!
