Really appreciate your ability to kick subjectivity to the curb and make an analysis grounded in objectivity!!

So beautiful, so talented--brought tears to my eyes. I'm not even African-American just a marching band lover. They were SO SHARP. Excellent musicality, SHOWMANSHIP. Gorgeous gold capes, love the pom-poms on the flags' boots (eek). So much style; love the chanting by the band members, love the band members' dancing (oh my, SO much talent there). Of course, love the gorgeous dancers and how they so charmingly waved to the crowd as they sashayed by---ah, man such a feast for the eyes from this group--just so impressive. Do y'all KNOW how much work this performance entailed??? WTG; hope we see more of you in the future

A Monster Legion is the HBCU band world's worst nightmare.

I'm BAMA STATE all the way but NORFOLK STATE turned it out. Way to go SPARTAN LEGION!!!!

A grown man shouldn’t be sitting here fully in tears watching a band performance from over a year old. But to see this band perform this well and having people all across the world, see them and what they do and what collectively we HBCU Marching programs do has me drowning in tears right now.

THIS BAND.....OMG. Musically they are it. No body music. Songs that actually have Chord changes. Hats off to the Band Director, and staff all the way to the silkets. Love the arrangements. Straight lines. The percussion sounds like a drum set. Perfect not sloppy. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. GO SPARTAN LEIGON.

I love the fact that the 'Spartan Legion' wasn't made to be a traditional band but, instead allowed to be traditionally itself! 💯💯💯

I was so proud to sit and watch our Spartan Legion mesmerize the audience. The arrangement was awesome. The song selection was perfect 💯 Everyone was on their feet. During our next few days in LA people continued to tell us how awesome they were when they saw us in our NSU gear. NSU understood the assignment

I've learned a lesson years ago (when I was a youngster) attending a TxSu and SU football game. My Big brother was laughing at me when I said I'll go to the concession stand at halftime. Went to the concession stand to find out it was closed. The lady said baby come back after the halftime show. Went back to my seat and found out the halftime show was better than the football game, both bands put on a show that night.

The best HBCU BAND IN AMERICA!!!!!

My humble opinion - this is a great band. Here, I think they did much better in their parade appearance than they did in their field show. On parade I could hear some of the woodwinds. I really like their precision.

They did great on both in my opinion. But if you've seen them Battle another band.. Its turned up another notch. I love the gym battles, everyone goes mad crazy.. so much fun..

The percussion is known as the Million Dollar Funk Squad, they are really tight, check them out on KZread if you are into that sort of thing
