What a fun and unique experience. We had a great day walking along the canyon, splashing our feet in the river and leaving our mark with mud handprints. The water was ice cold but so refreshing and although the rocks were slippery and the current strong, it was a fairly easy walk through. There were a couple tough spots where we saw a few people slip and fall, but everyone seemed to laugh it off. We look forward to coming back when the kids are older and maybe we can make it farther in the canyon. There were even benches and a few cafes and restaurants so you could truly make a day of it.
