Reminds me of "Can't you see what that woman is doing to me"...good jam. I like the fact you keep the backing track simple. I'm relearning to play after retiring at 68 years old. We learned by trying to listen and play along, so discovering CAGED was a real thing helped me a lot. We'd been playing that way, following the chords up the neck for Southern Rock solos for years just didn't know it was a thing. Having the backing tracks minus leads to practice over is perfect. I like your lead in the beginning but the track can go with so many vibes...slow and uncluttered Dickie Betts or hopped up Skynnard....lets you see what's really underneath and it's sort of Elvin Bishop...aint too purty but sure can play. Thanks. I subscribed. Looking at some of your others.

Great track ! I like how it picked up towards the end. Also, it not only resembles "Can't you see", it seems to blend in some of that bouncy rhythmic vibe of "Sweet Home Alabama", and also (towards the end) closely parallels the main groove from "Sympathy for the Devil" (which is in E rather than D, but is otherwise very similar. You can even play Mick Taylor's descending 6th-interval fills over it).

was asking myself same question. all chords g. c sharp doenst fit in my opinion.. i play d mixo which is g ionian…. and the b3. get that f inside… great sound bendings to bluenote and to b2. also works… but why is it d????? anyone can explain just trying to understand
@showbizkid545 ай бұрын
Just to add and not critique.....It is in G w/ an accent on D....It is a major chord progression which means 1..4..5.....G is the only one that has that progression using those 3 chords. D would be D..G..A (won't work).....C would be C..F..G (also won't do) G is the root chord.....G..C..D....;just a little theory for you....now enjoy the track as I will.
