SOUTHERN KURDISH LANGUAGE (KHANAQINI DIALECT)

Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.
Special Thanks to Husên Gurkuş
Southern Kurdish is one of the languages/dialects of the Kurdish language, spoken predominantly in northeastern Iraq and western Iran. The Southern Kurdish-speaking region spans from Khanaqin in Iraq to Dehloran southward and Asadabad eastward in Iran.
Kurdish people and specifically the speakers of this dialect usually refer to this dialect by using the name of a sub-dialect within Southern Kurdish such as Kalhori (Kellhurrî), Fayli (Feylî), Kermanshahi (Kirmaşanî) and Khanaqini (Xaneqînî) and they are all mutually intelligible.

Jin in Armenian is կին (kin) and in Greek is γυναίκα (gynaíka) and Ancient Greek γυνή (gyné). You can even find the root in gynecology, words in gyne- and in -gyny. I think it is related to words in gen- (as in generation, genetic and gender) but unsure.

Only the Faili Kurds in Iraq have a different dress, they wear the Baghdadi dress, which is the same as the Ottoman dress. The true Faili uniform in Ilam and Lorestan and kermansah is the same uniform worn by the rest of the Kurds.
