I first found the cult or Death Cult as they’d just changed in the 80’s in art school at Mansfield. Well I didn’t find them, my new girlfriend was a passionate fan, Jane. She introduced them and I was hooked. Saw them a few times live and they were amazing concerts. So forever underrated in the British rock culture. Jane tragically died in a car accident in the nineties which devastated me even though we were not together at the time. She was an amazing person and every time I hear these old songs I remember her and wish she could have had a life long enough to watch these old videos and tell her grandkids she was there. Good bless you Jane Owen. Xxx

Usually two or three songs into the gig you'd be down the front sweating your tits off having a riot. Then you'd look over your shoulder and see a line of posers sucking in their cheeks, still as pristine as when they walked out of their bedsits, only one thing for it, go over towards them swinging your arms about and drag them into the melee....brilliant times

Look's like Ian had to turn it down a notch or 2 1st had to drop the world Death and the music mellowed out probably due to all the music so called Laws etc etc etc if he didn't do all of these things he probably wouldn't of made it any farther some 1 with talent cannot just give up because of silly some times stupid laws
