South West Coastal Path | Swyre Head to Tyneham Village
As a day walk, Abbie heads out to walk a 12 mile route from near Kimmeridge to Swyre Head, then along the South West Coastal Path to Kimmeridge Bay, where she finds fossils and a crab! Then, back on the trail, she ventures into the Lulworth Firing Ranges to reach the abandoned village of Tyneham, not before she climbs up the immense hill to Flowers Barrow Hillfort from Worbarrow Bay. Expect lots of geology, archaeology and adventure in this video!

Stunning coastline. Abbie's enthusiasm really does add to the enjoyment of watching this film.
I truly believe that, for it's size, England is one of the most diverse and beautiful countries in the world.

As a matter of fact I love Wales and Scotland just as much a England. I was simply commenting on the huge variety of environments within England. It it simply my opinion. I love England.
Oh Abbie, truly wonderful, Kimmeridge was my wife's favourite place, your walk bought back many wonderful memories, again!. Thank you for sharing these
Truly inspirational and uplifting during these difficult times. :)
Hi Abbie, I've watched your films for a couple of years now. With great pleasure. You inspired me to go to Lundy because of your enthusiasm, so when I retired a couple of months ago I spent a couple of weeks in Devon . And I did the Tarr Steps walk, again, inspired by you! I totally understand your difficulties and I see your self remedy as wonderful. My eldest son is back living with me because of mental health issues and the only cure is taking him to the highlands and islands of Scotland and walking his legs off. D x
Your videos are truly unique! There’s just something about them, I think its the fact that you know the land very well and you give history facts and random stories about the places you visit! You have inspired me to walk my first trail ever -the SDW this summer, at the age of 18! 🙏🏼🙏🏼💚
Love the South West Coastal Path.
Really enjoyed this walk Abbie, your enthusiasm is so inspiring. Just wonderful, thank you for sharing 😊💕
Another great video I am never ceased to be amazed at the wonderful country side this country has to offer.
Great video Abbie, I love your enthusiasm . The geological diversity of Purbeck is incredible for such a relatively small area, and it's easy to get to as well. Swimming at the far end of Worbarrow Bay is a must - a bit of a trek but you'll have the beach to yourself. I'm long overdue a visit.
One of my favourite areas to walk... and only 10 minutes from my house! I'm very lucky.
That’s amazing. I literally did the first half of this walk this Saturday heading out east. It’s amazing coastline and a great walk well done Abbie.
Your filming, editing and presenting, just gets better and better. Thanks for sharing, Abbie. 🙂👍
Adding walks to my travel plans....
A walk I have done many times, that view at flowers barrow is my favourite on the coast and my lunch stop. It is so good to hear your perspective Abbie so thanks. BTW you probably know now that the foundations at Clavell Tower are in fact the original foundations before it was moved back 20 metres.
Fantastic walk, makes me miss living on the South Coast!
Outstanding video. Your command of the English language is commendable.
Such a beautiful walk! Went to Corfe Castle once and can't believe I didn't go as far as the coast!
Hi Abbie, there are very beautiful areas between the Flowers Barrow and Lulworth cove . Mupe Bay and arish mell. Hope you have seen those places too ..
So stoked to be alive. Good one! :)
Funny, I was there at Easter as well. Beautiful weather.
Great !!!!!
I enjoy your videos so much! Always beautiful scenery, fantastic camera work, and interesting history and local knowledge. Thanks so much for sharing!
Lovely walk, Abbie. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your experience Abbie!
Spectacular walk, wow!!!! Enjoyed it so much, thank you, Abbie!💕🇬🇧🌼🏞🐦🌿👍
Amazing video Abby, thank you do much for all the information 🤗🤗🤗!!
Nice wee trip and sunshine. Looks great for a grand weekend walk and camp.
Another one of your stunning walks Abbie! 👏🏻 Expertly filmed as well. I really liked seeing and hearing about Tyneham village too.
Another great vid. Thanks Abbie.
Thanks again Abbie for a great video. After being in the amazing U.K. for 3 months I am afraid that tomorrow I fly home to Australia. Great weather has followed me for almost the entire time.
Great walk Abbie, I haven't been down that way for years, will try to later this summer :)
Another great walk and video with yet more stunning scenery. Just a pity there was no cream tea at the end!
I could of put up a tent and just stared at that high view for days =-)
How could you not mention Kimmeridge quarry? Great video.
Please can I come with you on these walks there amazing
I really like your channel but I only like watching the vids where your in mountain areas like Scotland, when you next going to a place like that? You could go climb Ben nevis or something
Abbie, is it cow slips or cows lips? Thanks for sharing the scenery. Great stuff.

Hey Abbie try researching electric universe then you may have a different thinking to geology and the earth's past history...
