SOUTH POLE | 4K HDR | NIGHT IN ANTARCTICA IV
Фильм және анимация
This is Part IV of IV of the South Pole timelapse series shot by Robert Schwarz. Shot in the winters of 2018 and 2019. Processed and graded in HDR by Martin Heck.
The South Pole is one of the coldest, driest and harshest places on earth. The Aurora Australis can be seen together with the core of the milkyway only here in Antarctica. Temperatures below -70°C/-95°F during the polar night are not uncommon. Together with strong winds and exceptional aridity this is one of the hardest places in which to shoot timelapse. Special equipment has been constructed and modified to keep the cameras running.

I've never seen such a blue Northern Light video. Thank you.
You always help remind me of the wonder all around us. I also appreciate you reminding me that whatever I'm worried about at the moment is very very small. Thank you.
Great (again) you could see that it was shot in 2018 and 2019 concerning the position of Mars and Jupiter near Sagitarius/Ophuichius and that it was at the Pole the way Orion was cut into half at the horizon.
This video proves in front of nature everything is tiny..very captivating shots

Bro that is toooooo relaxing 😃😀
sublime !!
Beautiful
I ain't dying without watching this at least once in my lifetime
What are the streaks in the sky? Satellites? I didn't think there was much air traffic over the southern pole.
@TimestormFilms
Жыл бұрын
Correct! Due to the shallow angle of the sun, almost all satellites in orbit are lit up over the poles and therefore very visible! There is effectively zero air-traffic over the south-pole in winter.
Impresionante 👌❣️
Wow! Great ! This cool
Beautiful ❤️

We have some 360degree timelapse with the moon I think. Not sure exactly. If I find a good shot I make a video for KZread or Instagram!
One place I've always wanted to visit is Antarctica, but feel it's off-limits and far out of budget for us regular folk,... anyway awesome work, as always, thanks again.
Beautiful shots from the south ring somewhere.
grazie
Great Pictures😍 Thanks Robert and Martin for the film. How did the HDR production process go? Can you give some details and what did you do to make the SDR version look good too? Greetings from Switzerland
Super
I want a iceplanet FOREVER
Beautiful work!! 👏👏 What's the melody?
📷 Wow! If I could, when my time comes⌛, that's where I'd want to be (Going there before that would still be good😉). Amazing, peacefull! Perfect earth - human - cosmos connection ❄👍🏻👨🚀👍🏻☄
Harika 👍

Who let you go so deep into Antarctica?
Spectacular, Deployed Worldwide Through My Deep Learning AI Research Library SilentWeaponsForQuietWars Thanks Martin
I'm questioning my own reality 😕 🙃
And who is flying deep into Antarctica and back?

The USAF 😅
Is this actually real?

Yep.
Who constantly flies over the South Pole? After all, planes don't fly there, according to official data.
Night sky almost looks composited
