"Everyone was laughing hysterically and then afterwards were like "that wasn't very funny"". Pretty much all of internet culture in a nutshell, right there.
Thank goodness Comedy Central gave them another chance, cause I love the show and really enjoy watching it. And Comedy Central is the right place for it, thank God Fox, MTV or any other didn't get it...
'Dad's Army' didn't test well either, but it wound up becoming one of Britain's most beloved sitcoms.
south park is the only thing on TV that i still watch
i cant thank them enough for making..... TEAM AMERICA,ORGAZMO,BASEketball BOOK OF MORMON & SOUTH PARK

a few years later, i know, but they didnt make baseketball, they just starred in it.
Women were ready to rise up against South Park? Guess it's confirmed what inspired them to crafts Kyle's Mom by.
First time i've heard them mention Absolutely Fabulous.
Just to think, a little over ten years later these guys created an award winning Broadway production, BANG!
@stephenrad Sorry, we can't choose which ads play beforehand. Believe me, I've seen Camp Vegas more than enough times, too.
just imagine how many south parks never got made because of stupid media executives and study group results!
Hahah they love Absolutely Fabulous. Deadly lads.
The ending "Whatever happend, happend" LOST quote :-)
Is there some where I can watch this whole sit down and not just clips...?

bepinkfloyd been waiting for 6 years, I refuse to stop being lazy and look myself!
i had to think about this..but it's obvious to me now..there is more ad revenue from breaking it up this way..even if there were 5 ads for instance on the whole video--people (at least me/i[for this sentence])would be less likely to watch to whole thing..and there is definitely more replay value and sharing for the segments than the whole video
Savages! Love it
i wish these were one long clip
MTV almost had South Park? Weird. The only reason I started watching Comedy Central was South Park, but now I watch lots of shows on Comedy Central besides South Park all the time. But I watch almost zero MTV. So I can't help but wonder if I would be a different person today if South Park had been on MTV and not Comedy Central.
WOO SOUTHPARK YEAH WOO!!!!!!!!!!
why is this interview so chopped up??? is there any single complete copy of it?
its weird that they said they love kids in the hall, theres some video floating around with them doing commentary and fucking RIPPING the skit apart... most sarcastic commentary ever man.
Funny how they don't even bother putting anyone in the frame but Trey and Matt. I heard that girl's voice and I was like "oh yeah... who the fuck are those other people?"
Screw that, i wanna here more about people who claimed they made it.
"Women were just mortified when we tested it." And that's how you know it's funny.

And thats how you know wamen can't be funny
How is 5 to 10 years old vintage?
@rvk105 the whole thing doesn't exist, when it was first shot it was split up into these shorts. Its really annoying.
Which other episode did they make? There's the pilot of "Cartman gets an anal probe" and the first official episode "Cartman gets an anal probe", so is this the "second" episode they had to make because the pilot didn't test very well? Or why did they change "Cartman gets an anal probe" in the actual show?
South Park on MTV would have been aired at like 2AM, it would have gotten maybe 2 seasons, and the network would have cut or altered 3/4 of the jokes.
What was the pilot they did before south park?
they love kids in the hall?! I LOVE KIDS IN THE HALL! we are soulmates.
if you have ads then you must be partnered right? couldnt you upload the whole thing then?
they like ab fab? crazy!
Why can't you number the video titles? Or edit the videos into one long clip?
i mean this very seriously, i don't want to imagine a world where south park never existed because it didn't test well. these two and their people are the great satirists of two generations.
@stephenrad I would've enjoyed them more If they weren't 5-10 years old.
comedy central doesn't show kids in the hall anymore :(
i wish i hade ther atograf
2,5 minute clips. wow, thanks
@Tomanistanumerouno I prefer the term "vintage." Would you rather that I not post them at all? We'll have new clips coming fairly soon.
Boy, that host has got his nodding skills down pat!
@mightymouse5565 You know what's sad? MTV Skins makes Jersey Shore look good. Yes, I just went there.
@erroneousapostrophe That is the essence of being a South Park fan.... it took me a while to get off my high horse of "dignity" as well lol
I very much enjoy the Paley Center's clips, but the Camp Vegas ad, as brief as it is, is incredibly annoying.
@mightymouse5565 It's gay now. Back in the 80s and 90s it was the shit.
AMERICAH FUCK YEOH!
if your here for the voices theres NO FUCKED UP VOICES (anybody have a vid on trey doing cartman ill love u)
@erroneousapostrophe That sounds exactly like south park!!! It's just really awesome, hilarious vulgar stuff! lol I can't say that about ANY other show..
What? Women were mortified? What kind of lame women were they testing with?
