My first job was working at Toys R Us, in 2006, the year the Nintendo Wii and TMX Tickle Me Elmo came out, and I started two weeks before Black Friday. A customer punched the cashier next to me, grabbed a Wii and an Elmo, and booked it. They got tackled in the parking lot. So as a long time retail working Game of Thrones fan who has seen violence committed for Elmo dolls, I love this episode.

The Elmo thing is bc the voice actor for elmo was discovered to be a P in those times 😂😂😂

I worked Black Friday at Home Depot. There was a Wal Mart next to us and for some reason people still lined up. I never quite got it. We had some deals on regular products that were pretty awesome, but 90% of our stock became random bits and junk we never carried other than for Black Friday. Like in terms of quality, the stuff we had on Black Friday was relative trash and people fought for it. Even getting in to go to work was a hassle with people trying to bust through the door when management came to let the employees in 10 mins before opening. I get that there are some crazy deals out there, but at the end of the day, it's just a bunch of stuff and bullshit, and it doesn't justify treating other people like garbage and causing a fit the way people do.

RIP for Black Friday. Gone are the days of low prices and people lining up to kill one another. I remember going into Walmart to get Pokemon Omega Ruby when it came out and seeing people fight over TV's in the front

My mom has been working at Walmart since 1988. During Black Friday when we were kids, my mom took us into the back of the store to wait. We were always first. We knew exactly where everything was, even had employees hand us stuff as we walked by.

I've worked as a mall guard and been on shift for several black Fridays. Obviously they're overstating things here, but it was unbelievably stressful and a general pain in the ass: Crowd control, cars broken into, fist fights, accidents in the parking lot, thieves of every kind, more calls from stores than we had men to deal with it, and everyone in the mall near the end of their patience. Really the whole Christmas season was like that, just not as bad as the first day. Oh, BTW, Randy's plan wouldn't work. The guards are not going to do any shopping. They're going to be way too busy for that.

My first part time job I worked at Geek Squad at Best Buy. Black Friday was busy as shit there, especially with people coming to us to help install new computers or laptops for who they would give to their friends/relatives for Christmas

I worked 3 Black Friday's at Walmart before but it wasn't bad for me thankfully because worked the Fresh section and came in a couple hours after they opened the doors and nobody really shops for food on Black Friday. My Grandma had a heart attack Black Friday just due to the crowd's and the ambulance couldn't get to her because of the traffic.

Yes I have worked a few Black Fridays... but I live in a relatively small enough town, in a nicer community, so.... those days weren't overly insane! Actually, working retail, Black Fridays were AWESOME, because the shifts go by SO fast! 😂 Lol! You snap your fingers and work an hour and....poof! It's nine hours later and you're on your way home already! Haha! I've never experienced the insanity of huge cities or over-the-top, in-person shoppers. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😊 God bless those working retail at the holidays, you soldiers don't get enough gratitude, especially around this time of year!

Really love this episode. The Black Friday trilogy is one of my favorite episodic trilogies. As far as game consoles, I’m more of pc and Nintendo switch. If I want to play games that are from both Sony and Microsoft, I can use steam or x box live. And switch just for Nintendo exclusives like Zelda.

My first retail job was stocking shelves at Meijer (which Wal-Mart stole their layout and idea from) and my first shift was 11pm to 7am leading into Black Friday. It was the absolute worst, luckily everybody went for the electonics but it was a mad house.

Worked Black Friday 11 years in a row at Best Buy. Glad to be done with retail

Haven't bought a playstation since PS2. Once I tried the Xbox 360 I never wanted to go back to PS. I just like the feel of the controller better. PC over both though. Nothing beats the feel of mouse and keyboard to me.

Not super tribal about my gaming consoles, but I generally play PlayStation and Nintendo. Did one retail Black Friday, and I was bored. I was a carryout, meaning I helped customers with heavy purchases and bring in carts from the parking lot. We were so busy, there were no carts in the store so everyone brought them in from the parking lot. I had nothing to do the entire shift.

7:30 - 7:59 I play on Nintendo Switch. I specifically play Fortnite, Smash Ultimate, FNAF HW, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. (Mostly Fortnite). But to the boys in this epsiode, I would definitely go for Xbox because the Playstation is confusing with the shapes.

Tables of folded t shirts and suit shirts turned into one big ball of miscellaneous clothing. It was a sight to see.

I chose Xbox because My brother had it.. dumb reason I know, he never played with me, and most of my “friends” had ps4 But truth be told, I’m a pretty decently built dude, and I got some decently large hands, so the XBOX controller just fits better in my hands, and I like the triggers better (Be great if the controllers didn’t break every 5 months though…)

Black Friday really did show the worst in human greed but I am strangely sad that it isn't as big as it used to be. Online shopping really is convenient.

At the time Xbox all the way (I have PC now) but it was because I never owned a PlayStation before. I went the Nintendo 64, GameCube, Xbox 360, Xbox One route so I never got used to the PlayStation controller which I never really was a fan of. I also liked the Xbox live dashboard a lot more too

i worked at journeys (the shoe store) for black friday shopping, shit was HECTIC!

I worked at Walmart as a cart pusher for Black Friday and i ened up getting jumped by 6 people because they were stealing and they thought i was security trying to stop them and the year after that i had a gun pulled on me because i asked someone to moce because they parked jn the firelane (blocking the way for the carts)

I'm Nintendo first through and through, but as for the basic consoles I prefer Playstation over Xbox. There's just no point getting an Xbox when you can play every game the Xbox can play on PC and play it better.
