Looks lovely - I want a holiday! I love Montpellier. We cycled down to Palavas-les-Flots with hire bikes along the river but didn't visit La Grande-Motte. I don't normally go back to places I've visited but I think I'd go back to Montpellier - such a quaint town :)

Merci pour cette vidéo bien claire! En Ontario, quand on enseigne le concept du passé composé aux élèves, on utilise un acronym pour les verbes non -pronominales qui se conjuguent avec être DR & MRS VANDERTRAMPP. Cet acronym aide avec la mémorisation des verbes ( D= devenir, R = revenir, M= monter etc). Est-ce utilisé dans d’autres coins du monde?

Your videos are the best. You speak very clearly and at the speed that I can keep up with. I love the French language and would dearly like to move to France where I would be fully immersed in language and culture.

Hello! Cool video, I love your vlogs! Made me feel want to visit France again ☺️ I was in Paris 8 years ago. Passe compose is quite simple but when to use this tense and when to use imparfait - it's more complicated. I thought that when you describe a story in past mostly you use imparfait, but now I guess it's more for describing emotions and weather rather than events. Anyway, keep making more vlogs, they are the best😁 xoxo

Merci Paulina 😃 Oui la différence entre imparfait et passé composé est souvent difficile à comprendre ! L'imparfait c'est plus pour faire une description dans le passé (par exemple le temps, un paysage, une personne) ou pour parler d'une habitude dans le passé alors que le passé composé c'est plus pour parler d'une action dans le passé.

I can't explain why cause my french and my english are bad but i can tell you "Nous nous sommes arrêtés" means that happened but "Nous sommes arrêtés" means is still happening. I guess in english it's both " We stoped" but "Nous sommes arrêtés" means "We are now stoped" while "Nous nous sommes arrêtés" is more like " We have made a stop ".

quand j'etais petit . je pensais que tout les peuples francais habitent a paris . { Je connais que il etait stupid } and in india when we learn passe compose the verbs which comes with etre , we have made a list of them it is known as the advent list . It is same but it is like this . Arriver /partir Descendre /monter Venir/aller entre / sortir naitre / mourir tomber/retourner and rester And in this advent list all reflexive verbs and verbs that kind off match with the advent list like par example devenir , revenir rentre etc come . So i guess this is the easy way to learn passe compose easily .
