"Advanced" you say. Sure, only the catapult. Everything else is literal garbage. Even the 002 turns better. The 003 is already suffering cracks and hull integrity issues. I've worked on ships before, and ships that are well designed and well-built, don't suffer that kind of damage especially when they are brand new. "Advanced" my ass.

One important note, China never claim the whole SCS, it is not China's territory water, 9 dashed line means it, if it is territorial water, it would be a solid line, not dashed line. In SCS, China only claimed territorial water at The Paracel Islands, and protested the US navy if its warship closer to 12 nm of it. There is never any interrupt or blocking freedom of navigation by China in SCS

Philippine blew the importance of so called their EEC out of proportion, there is actually not much but just sea water, Their EEC cannot automatically includes any islands (or things like it), EEC just for water, China's claim is on the islands not the water, but certainly island needs some buffer water area, not let others just put a sinking boat just at the edge of the water,

EEZ not EEC.. also the island in contention is closer to Philippines. From China it is 1000km, from Philippines it is 250 km. So whose claim is more valid? That's what UNCLOS said.
