Skip completely took Staley's comments out of context. She was not endorsing or condoning her team fighting in her contrast. She even followed up by saying while it's important to protect and stand up for one another, they have to be smart about how they do it

I find it appalling that everyone on this panel is celebrating what happened. While it happens all the time and it is no big deal, unsportsman like conduct should never be celebrated. Coach Staley said it best when she said that emotions get high but a more mature team should handle it differently, and even apologized on behalf of everyone involved. While Coach Mulkey did nothing but add fuel to the fire by saying that she wished she would've pushed a bigger player. You shouldn't wish anyone got pushed or harmed in any way. It shows a lack of maturity that seems to have trickled down to her players because remember it was her players that first initiated the contact in the first place. Again, the scuffle really was no big deal and happens all the time in sports, but Coach Staley acted as a Coach of her caliber should while Coach Mulkey acted like a frustrated, out-of-pocket parent at a YMCA game.

@jellybryce7742 women's sports are just as competitive as men's. It's just not as exciting to watch. That really has nothing to do with their opinion on the scuffle. They already have the ratings because we watched and are talking about what they said, so them "enjoying" the scuffle isn't for ratings it's just their opinion. The game was a championship game, so they were going to talk about it regardless of whether the scuffle happened or not.

@reginacameron3011 You sound slow. FJ and A. Watkins got into it and A. Watkins walked off laughing. . The big, dumb savage had no reason to do what she did to a much smaller player. Her teammates and coach looked at her as if she were crazy. The savage also pushed the ref and has been ejected from a game before for assaulting a player.

This is not good for the game like what is she talking about? So here it is at 4:17 left in the game watch Reece back elbow Cardoso so hard Cardoso almost fell down but she did get a good bloody lip, was it intentional watch the next play down the court, Angel wanted nothing to do inside after she gave that cheap shot thinking Cardoso might do it back so Angel ended up out at the 3 point line eventually shooting a 3 pointer which she has only shoot 8 in her career like y'all don't see that? Do people like watching a game that one team just plays dirty the entire game and then when the other team finally pushes back then the game is stopped for 20 minutes and the viewers change the channel because nothing is happening so recap for these people that want to see the real story of what happened watch Cardoso at 4:17 watch the missed elbow that blooded her lip and how Angel was scared after she did it

The issue is Keyshawn. He doesn’t understand its a show, he shuts down any opposing view like its something unthinkable. Like Skip cook and assume, and speculate!!

Another thing I will say is both sides was playing hard and they were jawing and barking at each other. During the game you see Fulwiley do the too small that was a jawing moment right there. You have Flau'Jae pushing and jawing as well. But what we all have to admit is they both played a part in it. We saw Reese and Cardozo battling in it out the paint we saw the unnecessary contact from LSU. Finally the last thing I'm gonna say is when Kim Mulkey said she wish she would have pushed Angel Reese. Kim Mulkey was basicially saying pick on someone your own size and the girl who got in Flau'jae face is the reason Flau'jae pushed her but Flau'jae can't let that stuff get to her head.
