It was Jin who gave that nickname hehehehe...and it was during the release of Butter (around that time) his sister in law was pregnant and his brother was asking Jin to help them out for a name and Jin said to name him/her Butter so they came up to that nickname.

Yes! The beginnings of Butter! It's such a fun song! 2:30 - Yes, this is one of their 3 All-English songs, which is one reason why it broke so many records. It was able to get to a larger audience, I guess. I love that it did so well, but at the same time it makes me a bit sad that they can't seem to get this kind of huge records with their Korean ones. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Butter and all of their English songs. It's so special that they took the time to make something in our language, which isn't easy, and all of these English ones are FIRE. But, their Korean ones still edge in as my favorites. For me, they just seem to have more to them that I love. I want to see one of their Korean songs at the top of the charts for weeks and being nominated for a Grammy. That's what I would love. But I still love these ones to death. 3:32 - That hand-kiss is an iconic choero move now. It's super cute, and I don't know if you noticed, but that hand that JK kissed there? That's the hand where he has his "ARMY" tattoo. So when he does that move... that's a little extra love for ARMY. 💜 They also put out a few fun remixes of Butter soon after this came out. Them losing the Grammys again although it was a hit ENGLISH song has led me to believe that they're definitely getting that Grammy with a Korean song. Dynamite, butter and PTD are beautiful but maybe it just wasn't there time. I think they'll make history by winning a Grammy with a song in Korean because their Korean songs are so so beautiful (Lowkey kinda upset that Blackswan wasn't at least nominated)

The English ones are fun and I ADORE them, but, even as an English speaker myself, I connect more with the Korean ones. Maybe it's that it's their native tongue and they can express themselves more eloquently and more completely. But also, that's THEIR NATIVE TONGUE, so they are being truly and authentically themselves with it. And I love it. The Korean language is beautiful. And I love how proud they are of it. Here's to their upcoming Grammy win with a native Korean song! I'm all here for it. 💜💜💜

@@dxwxt well my father and my maternal uncle both did their engineering from best collages as well...so I wanna clear JEE just like them and secure a good job of my interest...im interested in computer engineering and I might be doing a job in that field.(it's my dream) My uncle is a software engineer in america as well and my father works in one of the top companies in India..so that really motivates me :) and yay I love physics very much and it really helps as im interested in engineering

I love the beat of the beat of this as it gives me queen vibes. It's so so cute and such a beautiful song and it's also got that sexy vibe to it aswell. I couldn't stop smiling at it as the song is so catchy and I now have the chorus stuck in my head. The vocals are amazing and the raps omg I love then so much. And omg the styles are amazing they look amazing in what wver they wear. The MV itself is amazing as ever and the choreo is on point like always. I literally have no words how I'm feeling right now but all I know is this entire MV and song is making me smile and feel so happy.
