The man started off on TikTok and exploded. Glad he started doing longer videos on KZread. He is also back in college to get a degree in history.

now, is he going for a degree in history to teach classes or just an excuse/medium to get more information/content for his youtube channel lol.

His classmates who are communistic are regretting his decision. He gets to "play" at college and question everything - and with how fast and concise he can be I feel sorry for his teachers.

His explination on his podcast he shares with a few other youtubers was he wanted to rewrite or repoplulate some of the things that have been forgotten or ignored. How he does it will likely be through video due to his general disgust with colleges. He currently has all his credits in his field but of course the college requires that underwater basket weaving credit because of money.

He should be a professor of History I would go to woke transformer college's just for that course

@@m2hmghb Probably no need to feel sorry for his teachers, every single one of my history profs encouraged it almost as much as the philosophy department did (even the blatant Francophile who managed to turn a course on early modern Europe into just early modern France). Several outright said it doesn't matter if they agreed with any of us or not, only whether we could support our arguments and actually cite a good variety of sources (especially if we took the time to consider any counterarguments and preemptively start to rebut them with additional evidence). At its core the profession is basically about two things: knowing how to find & process supporting evidence and knowing how to make an argument out of it.
I love fat electrician. He uses explitives as enhancers instead of just putting them in for their own sake. The interesting thing is I've started seeing history teachers react to his videos to provide context or corrections - and they don't get much opportunity to do so.

Yeah he gets his info correct almost all the time, like you’ve said he’s occasionally corrected but much more accurate than a TON of “history” channels
His videos are historical, informative and funny. Im a retired US Army Green beenie, and I love his sense of humor. Check out other vids you'll love them. "Proportional" USA vs Iran navy, Casuas Marcelus Clay....

And Operation Beaver Drop!
I was in the USAF almost 50 years ago. They showed us a film that had an F-4 (the frontline US fighter jet in the late 60's and early 70's) and an F-15 (just introduced) taking off at the same time. The F-15 got airborne first, went straight up, did a loop and did a simulated strafing run on the F-4 just as the F-4 was getting airborne. Plus, the F-15 carries a crap-ton of electronics and weapons. It's been the dominant air superiority fighter for the last 50 years.

I think I saw that same film at Commander's Call! I was at Mountain Home AFB with F-111Fs in 1972-1976, The F-35 is the latest version of the Jack of All Trades F-111 (slow and low and master of nothing). I SO wanted the F-15 but never saw one until after I served overseas (1976-77) at Naval Air Station Keflavik (F-4s) before special duty with the 1155th Technical Ops Squadron at McClellan AFB, Sacramento for my final two years, leaving in 1978. .
I'm from Texas, and my people, where I grew up at least call this "swearing properly." You explained it perfectly because it's just swearing at the right time, basically. He's not swearing too much but does so when it's called for lmao. I love it and alot of military folks talk this way.(I have many vets in my family)
@johngillespie3409
6 ай бұрын
Fuckin funny because he's a veteran, army medic, I did army infantry in Texas. And does the unsubscribe podcast in San Antonio Texas. Texans and vets have the same fuckin vocabulary 🤣🇺🇲
Nick (The Fat Electrician) is famous for researching stories most people don't talk about that are so unbelievable they should have movies made about them. These stories as unbelievable as they may seem are well researched and 100% true. Some I would recommend of his are "America Wipes out Half of Iran's Navy in 8 hrs" "World War Tree Operation Paul Bunyan" "Sergent Reckless Marines Warhorse" "Winter Soldier ODs on Meth and becomes unkillable". All amazing videos. You can't go wrong with T.F.E.
Some people don't understand some of his phrases because he speaks veteran fluently. 😂
@hawke1133

He is one (a veteran), so it shows. lol
Yeah Israel use these a LOT! They are actually the prime reason the F-15 is still active and affective currently. While America has moved on to many more newer fighters, Israel wanted production to continue because its the basis of their Air force. So Israel has spent like the last two decades putting tremendous amounts of money into continuously upgrading the F-15. One of the few times that there was a true improvement and/or continuation of an American military plane almost solely because of an outside nation.
More please! You will love them! My favorite is americas greatest anti-hero Jake Mcnasty. Such a great impressive and funny story!
Please more Fat Electrician.. he is amazing!
He speaks Vetranese. Listening to him is like chopping it up with my old Navy pals. I love to listen to him talk too.
His longer videos are like a thesis paper in American History. Theyre so informative, in his style.
would LOVE more of his content on the channel! such a great guy
Watch his video on Dan Daly, the most gangster Marine of all time...
you need to watch this guys video "proportional", I too love this guys presentation. Also a must is his take on the barbary pirates war. More fat electrician.
Don't be surprised if he pops up in the comments. He really does incourage reactions to his comments Some of his longer videos are really good. "Amereica Dismantles Pirate Nations for Touching Their Boats - The Barbary Wars" is a good one, especially if you want some foundation stories on the US Navy and US Marine Corp.
I work around military and they can swear eloquently and beautifully with a dark sense of humor so funny, you'll be gasping for air. The Shakespeare's in BS.
Hey there Jono. I worked on the F-15 for 10 years. I worked in Aircraft Recovery and Reclamation (ARR) where our main job was to go get a downed jet or respond to other emergencies (we were even trained to recover the space shuttle if they ever had to land at our base in NM), Phase Dock inspections (take panels off, inspect, fix, put panels back on), and worked on my own jet on the flightline (where the jets are parked). I have worked on each model, the A through the E Strike Eagle. The F-15 is the only jet that is able to do a short take off, go vertical, and keep accelerating. The pilot will black out before the engines ever give up. The plane missing the wing actually happened, but in reality, there was about 2 feet left of the wing. I've seen other things like that, and the Eagle still made it home. I've talked to pilots that had flown other jets, and said they will never go back to them after flying the Eagle. The one that shot down the satellite was actually on the base I was in NM. I got to work on it after the program ended. They ended it because we developed missiles that could do the job quicker. The missile it carried would actually do the most of the flying. The pilot was there to take off, the missiles program would take over, then after the launch, the pilot would land. That plane never stopped amazing me even after 10 years. You could even loose one engine, and still fly and fight! It's the best of the best! Little known fact, during the Gulf War, the Fighter Squadron I belonged to, the 336th Rocketeers, were the first planes dropping the first bombs in Baghdad. After that, we started calling ourselves "The Famous Rocketeers"! Lol. But you won't find that info on any other website.
The Fat Electrician is my favorite (mostly) military Storyteller on KZread, i highly recommend reacting to more of his content!
He doesn’t have single bad video. They’re all worth watching in my opinion.
If you think this is him talking fast, just watch earlier videos. 👍🏼
How he talks in his videos is how I talk and explain things in real life. It makes it extremely hard to comment on YT sometimes.
I will never forget the amount of F-15 I saw at Luke's. I was Navy Aircrew and have seen a lot of air fields, but Luke’s was different, the most fighter jets I have ever seen. Hundreds upon hundreds of F-15s.
I've got several of his shirts. My favorite is the one that say "It's never a war crime the first time".
This gun goes "BRRRRRTT" just like the Warthog.
Always play his videos till the end. Sometimes there is bonus footage
he does not swear enough, he is a legend at what he does hahaha
Welcome to the wonderful world of the fat electrician! He's absolutely my favorite creator on all of KZread. I never miss a video he uploads. I definitely recommend you checking out some of his longer videos as well. Like his video on Samuel Whitmore and his video on Cassius clay-the most gangster politician of all time.
I just found this guy recently and he's fast becoming one of my favorite KZreadrs of all time!!! He's funny and gets his point across.
Don’t worry about the swearing,if you are working on the car you have to swear to get the job done.
I was working in the roof of a building and an F15 flew low and overhead. I was blown away.
For comparison, the F22 vs F15 record is 108 to 1. But Nic is wrong about the only plane to lose a wing. It happened to an F4 during Operation Praying Mantis, most people forget to mention the Iranian pilot managed to land his plane.
@macD723

Well, the F-4 isn't really an airplane. It's a jet engine with a seat on it. Lol. Those wings were so damn small, they were almost not there. Our nickname for the F-4 was the pig. It was dirty, oily, and they throw walnut shells in the intake to clean out the carbon. Lol. But, I loved my F-15. No better jet to work on.
A buddy of mine who I grew up with joined the Air Force after graduating from high school. He was an F15 mechanic. I visited him at Langley Air Force base a couple of times and those things flew overhead a few times a day.
You have found the best story teller on KZread. All of his videos are unbelievable but true and his way of telling the story is very entertaining.
Best story teller ever.
His video about operation praying mantis aka "proportional" and Dan Dailey are the best
The Fat Electrician's long form videos are even better. Man speaks fluent veteran and fluent historian in a way everyone can understand.
You absolutely need to react to more of the Fat Electrician!! His videos are amazing!! He's an electrician (obviously) but is currently in school to become a history professor. (I think. I could be wrong about that last part.) He is in school tho majoring in history.
The fat electrician is great love his shit lol
I live in eastern Washington about 20 min. From Fairchild AFB, when i was a serior in high school they scrambled a flight of Eagles to intercept a TU-190 that got a little "lost"
Yeah he is very reaction channel friendly too
You got to watch it all the way to the end because he does throw something in at the very end usually
I too enjoy the Fat Electrician. I'll add his "Berlin Airlift" and "Virginia Hall" videos to the list
@MIKE_F44

I feel like his Virginia Hall video is underrated, what a great story
There is a video of that F-15 Landing without it's wing. The pilot couldn't see the missing wing due to fuel spray and just floored it and the plane straightened out and they were able to land it. They said had I seen the wing was gone I probably would of ditched
@raymurray3401

Its both funny and incredible that the pilot didn’t bail out because he couldn’t tell how badly damaged his jet was and unintentionally proved that the f-15 could in fact fly without it’s wings.
If you like this video of his you will love a lot of the war videos. Many of his videos are insane stories that would be too unbelievable to even be the plot of a movie. He's the best story teller that I have seen on KZread. His videos are great.
Yes! I suggested his videos to you s long while back
SO glad you are reacting to The Fat Electrician!!!! He has great content and I can't wait to see you react to him more!!!!
Definitely check out more from The Fat Electrician!
MORE fat electrician please! His stuff is so good I don’t even feel the need to make a recommendation!
Oh man. Youre going to love his stuff. I cant wait for you to see his historical content
May I suggest his videos; the barbery pirates, Cassius clay, Samuel Whitmore and Operation Praying Mantis!!!!

Operation Praying Mantis is one of my favorite stories by him.
The Fat Electrician is so funny and informative.
I love all of your "BUCEES" merch in the background 😂. Someone has been to Texas!
Longer videos don't bother me. I prefer them. The Fat Electrician is really funny. Teaching a bit of history and humor. Great reaction today. Thanks. Keep them coming. 😊 Blessings and ❤to you and your family from the Great State of Texas 🇺🇸
I would recommend his video on the "Thing" aka the bazooka tank. Funny as hell and very informative. I'm sure you will enjoy.
watch more of this guy hes funny
I'm gong to nerd out here too. A rocket carries it's own oxidizer, such as LOX. A jet uses the atmospheric oxygen. The F-15 uses atmospheric oxygen. That settles that. Quack-Bang rocks.
I loved the live today.
Dude watch the one on the “Eager Beavers”.

This one was so fast because he used it as a short not a regular video. And the F-15 Eagle 2 is coming out this year Pilots have already been training in North Carolina
More Fat Electrician plz...1 of the best storytellers on KZread. Every story about a person or event on his channel could be a Hollywood movie. Dan Daly, Samuel Whittemore, Cassius Clay, Jake McNeese, Operation Praying Mantis, Barbary Wars, World War Tree, Sgt. Reckless, plus many more.
Good speaking American that's the way we talk in the south
You picked a great video for your first.
I'd pay $100 to hang out and drink beer with him for a weekend!! Him and his crew from their podcast. Prolly die laughing!!

It's like you're talking to your buddies with this guy!!! Funny as Hell!!!
Yesssss, i love your channel and his channel and i think you would love reacting to more videos from him and so would we!!! ❤️
A beast of a plane they got upgraded last year now there faster and more maneuvering power
More Fat Electrician videos, Jono! Definitely “ how US Navy destroyed half of Iranian navy”. That’s a great one
One of his better history lessons is the one on Iran's Navy Destroyed in 8hrs. Long but funny as hell
I love TFE please do more of these. I am subscribing now thanks. 🇺🇸
Would love to see you binge watch some more of his videos for example “destroying Iran’s navy in 8 hours”
Please react to more of this dude such a great channel
Subscribed, and yes, I agree, The Fat Electrician's videos are amazing!
As an American, nothing makes me feel more patriotic than watching foreigners in awe of our military equipment. I dont know why it does, especially when you consider that I feel like we could do so much more here at home resolving issues from healthcare to infrastructure, homelessness and more if we were to use even a small fraction of what we spend yearly on our military on these other issues that congress just can't justify allocating the funds to fix...incidentally, nobody in congress has to worry about any of those issues, as they're all independently wealthy.....and yet, here I am, practically bursting at the seams with national pride.🤷♂️
You really need to check out Why The F-15 Terrified The Soviets, it goes deeper into the F-15.
Yeah I seen him on reaction videos and he is good stuff.
It is worth noting, I feel, that the "air-to-air bomb kill" in question was against a helicopter that was taking off and not moving very much across the ground, with a bomb that was laser-guided, so it's not quite as impressive as it might at first seem. This is still a remarkable feat, because homing or not, laser-guided bombs are neither designed nor intended to be used against targets that are changing elevation, and still would have required the weapon system officer (WSO or "wizzo") to know from memory the operational envelope of that bomb in order to effectively use it for an "off-label" purpose. As to the F-15EX Eagle II, this is technically a derivative of the F-15E Strike Eagle (itself a derivative of the F-15D Eagle), with new engines and new computers, and will replace the F-15C currently in use (the F-15Es currently out there have not hit the end of their life and will continue to serve for some time, although I believe the internals are different enough that they cannot be upgraded to the EX variant). It's sort of expected that it will likely be used as a "missile truck" to deploy long-range air-to-air missiles in order to augment the F-22 and F-35 (although it will still be a very capable dogfighter), which will be nice to see because the F-15's radar across all variants has _always_ outranged what its missiles were actually capable of reaching. If you enjoyed this presentation on the the F-15, you should look into the proposed F-15SE Silent Eagle, and upgraded F-15E that incorporated stealth design features (it was ultimately not accepted because, while it had lower observability compared to the classic F-15, it was not appreciably lower than other, newer fourth generations designs, and it did not have the very-low observability of the F-22 or F-35).
I love The Fat Electrician! I hope you react to more of his videos.
Nic started on TikTok where he taught himself how to talk fast to be able to get out as much information could due to TikTok’s video length limits. As for the foul language it’s probably a habit he picked up during his time as a combat medic in the army national guard.
@raymurray3401
6 ай бұрын
He also confirmed during his time on the unsubscribe podcast that he doesn’t actually use a script. According to him after he’s researched the topic he wants to cover he’ll usually jot down a few important bullet points and the rest of it he does by memory with the jokes being made up on the spot.
@patricktennant1585
6 ай бұрын
Likely a lot of the foul mouth is due to him actually being a tradesman. That part of his channel name is real.
The F-15EX is a missile truck. It can carry 22 missiles
You have to do his proportional video you will love it
he'll. Latest version has 58,000 horsepower. And it carries 29,000 pounds of weapons.
He does swear, but it is not just to be rude. He makes history fun, and you remember it.
3 things ya don’t mess with America’s boats gas and Doc 🇺🇸🇺🇸🫡🫡🦅🦅
Love this video and that guy. He's not only right with facts but he's also hilarious. Good stuff.
You should also check out his video on the USS Texas, its fantastic
F-15 was made to counter the MiG-29 that supposedly went Mach 2.3 but later on it was a crappy Aircraft that fell apart even near high speed for an extended period of time and the unclassified speed of the F-15 is 2.5 but it is probably faster, especially the F-15EX. They are building the EX from the ground up.
Love your back drop🎉🎉❤❤❤
It's never a war crime the first time
If the Fat electrician was a history teacher, I would never have miss a day of history in high school.
The fat electrician videos get better and better and I love it
It looks like he speaks fast, but its all because the video has been edited after every sentence, you can see it everytime he finishes a sentence :)
7:03 which went like 4× faster then what Russia claims it's crappy Kinzel (probably misspelled it but don't care) missle goes
The F15 was built to take out the Soviet Foxbat that was said to be a super fighter and wasn't even that
Dude, you really should do more of his videos. Maybe just not with the kids if you are concerned about the swearing. Maybe with the son, just let him know it will happen.
You should do Fat Electrician USS Texas!
"This is America, we don't make sense, we make dollars."
It was a laser guided bomb which is achievable just no one ever did it because it's a waste
TGIF!
