The SEAL team leader of this mission was Justin K. Sheffield. He was the one to pick Jessica up & run with her for a mile! He has a book called MOB VI that covers the secret details & story of this mission. (Enough time has passed for him to publish this). A MUST read!!

I concur. Being an American isn’t just about being born here, it’s a spirit that’s not always obvious, but it’s always there. We are very divided politically and socially, but as you saw with 9/11, we all come together with one united voice and truly become The United States of America.

There is another video from the Seal team that rescued her. It tells of them flying and then parachuting in a strong wind that would normally have grounded a plane. They had to overcome many obstacles to rescue her. It is well worth watching.

Justin Sheffield was the Seal that led the rescue. His book publisher's website says this about him: "Most of the missions that he has conducted are still classified and clandestine. The most notable mission that has been declassified and published was the raid in Somalia that led to the hostage rescue of a female American citizen, and a Danish citizen. Senior Chief Sheffield was the team leader who planned the raid and led the jump, which has turned out to be the most difficult operation conducted by Seal Team Six to this day. He was the member of the unit who, after killing several of the hostage-takers, jumped on, protected with his body, and then picked up and carried to safety the American Hostage."

Im a Navy brat, my dad was Navy. I was born on a Marine Air Base. The Navy and Marines are related. When I was about 10, my parents were friends with this other couple and me and my sister also played with their kids. Their dad was a Seal. Us kids didnt know that at the time. They dont tell the kids 'oh, by the way, your dad is jumping out of a plane tonight to go rescue hostages'. And to look at the guy you would never guess he was a trained government assassin. He was such a nice guy, and looked like the youth group pastor at church. Never judge a book by its cover.

He said he is grateful that he was captured with an American because he would never had been rescued. I wish I could remember the name of the video but there is a video telling Jessica's story but from the other side, from the president and other people making plans for her. I put this edit because I found the other video. Team seal six smoked the pirates. It is interesting to hear the other side to.

Half of the politicians and three quarters of the professors in the United States hate the country and everything it stands for. The rest of us know that the SEAL team that saved Jessica are the very best of us. Some people can't stop telling you how very good they are. It goes into deeper detail about how treacherous the conditions were that night for the Navy seals to even attempt the rescue. 13:30 "You should be so so proud of your country. truly if you are an American" Among people aged 18 t0 34, *only 18% say they have "extreme pride" in the US.* This is a record low. (Gallup poll 2023.). Among all Americans, it's 39%, down from 70% twenty year ago. My prediction is that these numbers are headed much lower. Hopefully you'll challenge yourself and look into why Americans feel this way. You'll learn a lot about America that you didn't know before.
