@@nanaiyadi2039 you guys always brag about how in control you are of your countries in the same sentence you blame the west and white people for your demise of the same people you put into power. Minerals mean nothing in the Brics. Your country's alignment to Western powers makes Brics qualifies or disqualify your countries. You cannot be in alignment with the West and join a Brics which is the same thing against Western imperialism. Take your minerals to hell, Brics will still function without your minerals

We as South Africa do not have better management of our own African migration let alone the other countries. Our natural resources have been dug up by other countries and this is still the case, there can never be an excuse as to why don't we own every inch of them because they're in our soil. We have mines of different resources but we simply don't have them under the state control to better benefit the country they benefit whoever is mining them under a particular contract. We need to learn to manage our own as a country, tighten the rule of law for everyone, hold every individual accountable with our tax money. Integrity is the leadership needs to convince me they're doing something, for now, we sweet talk the public.

Naledi Pandor apparently you are the most impressive last ANC leader of the current generation before 2024 elections. My lady for more entrepreneurs we need a change is our education. Making it more scientific and technological advanced, transforming the current one to a more practical than it is theoretical.. A child should not complete 12yrs of schooling without any practical productive skill which can make him / her self reliant and self sufficient. That will make the country done with unemployment and rich in productivity and entrepreneurship. That in turn will make the country more industrial and such that strategy be employed by all African countries, Africa would not depend on any country, west or east, for investment and development. On mineral you new approach for local benefiation is great and it should be upheld throughout Africa. One policy on minerals is what Africa needs. That is a great step to one United Africa

Thank you Minister Naledi Pandor for your encouraging words of wisdom. It’s time to hold hands and work together as Africans first before we look elsewhere for solutions of problems we have in our countries and in the Continent, our Mother Ship Africa, for the sake of our survival and prosperity for all our people. It is not far from the truth that women are always the catalysts for progressive change in everything we set out to achieve! With all due respect to our African men, our women standout in good ideas for peace and prosperity in our countries and continent. We hope the men in leadership positions will facilitate the advancement of these ideas, with urgency, to be spearheaded by such visionary women like Minister Naledi Pandor who nicely laid out what needs to be done in order to achieve our goals. In addition we must stop promoting other countries’ ideas before our own that are suitable for us. Our people must start working together towards a solid Africa in all aspects that promotes fortitude in our people in order to transform and develop our countries and the Mother Ship Africa, fit for the 21st century. We must not allow ourselves to be excluded from the global conversations by encouraging further divisions among ourselves! Wake Up Africans!

She is right. All countries should work as a single unit when dealing with foreigners, but can work independently within the continent. Once passports are issued to each citizen in each country, free entry and exit between countries will be highly beneficial for the continent.

My view to bring African together we have to start where Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger had started South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe Botswana must come together in an effective ways using one currency one military n one president when that is complete other few countries will to the same final the the horns will meet n form one state let's allow ourselves to grow when we are matured enough one state can be created.

Yeah, one state can be created. But we are still far away to achieve that goal. Systems of governments are not the same. In SA and in Botswana, there is free public education, while in other countries, parents are still paying school fees for their kids..There is free public health care in SA while in other countries people have to be responsible for their health. In SA, there are pensions for the elders, child grants, and other benefits for unemployed citizens. There is Road accident fund in SA while in other SADC countries people have to rely on their car insurances. We are not yet ready for the United States of Africa.

@@sellomonama7797 u are right that's why few countries must come together n form one state like SADC can be a state n adopt positive influence grow as SADEC to function like south africa all issues and differences must be dealt with until we reach our maturity when that goal is fulfilled horns can come together n dealt with their own differences until another stage of growth are met then one state can be created.

@@nhlanhlaroymabila5844 True. But it must start with the South African Customs Union (SACU). Botswana, SA, Eswatini. Namibia and Lesotho. Other SACU members have already pegged their currencies with the rand. It's gonna be easy to form a currency of their own. However, with SADC is not gonna be easy. Imagine Mozambique and Zimbabwe don't want to join SACU. But with time anything is possible.

As an Arab Muslim I am so happy to see our African brothers reawaken and get their act together. Africa and its people one of the richest continents on earth and its nations that have contributed much to the march of human civilisation have suffered brutal colonisation and exploitation for so long and it’s about time they take charge of their destiny and work together in unity for the prosperity of the continent and its people.I am also envious of their efforts and disappointed and ashamed of Arab governments lagging behind on serving their people yearning for the same.
