I tried a couple of times to pierce my ears and every time they got infected from the earring, no matter if they were nickel free or whatever. I seem to be allergic to any kind of metal that touches my skin. If I wear any kind of jewelry, it can't touch my skin, so I wear the piece of jewelry on top of a shirt. Be careful where you go to get her ears pierced if she gets it done. Go to a professional that you can trust that has clean instruments.

Piercing ur ears is nothing, it only takes a second and it don't hurt, I got my ear pierced when I was 16 back in the 80s and there was no pain at all

I got my belly button pierced many years ago, it was no big deal at all. Just take proper care of it afterwards to make sure it doesn't get infected and you'll be fine. I pierced my own ears at 14 yrs old. I took ice, a needle, and a cork for behind the earlobe. My mother didn't believe me until I walked out with a needle through my ears. As a retired nurse, do not get belly piercing! We had to stitch up many young girls bellybutton. It is in a bad location and gets caught on clothes or when carrying things. The piercing of trunk are problem areas. Even though I loved assisting surgeries, it's not fun for the patients. Merry Christmas ❤

If your daughter likes horses so much you should come out to Kentucky at some point. Kentucky is known for its horse derby and probably the best known state for horses in general. We have some of the best horse parks in the country. We also have a bunch of other cool places and things to check out. We got the abraham lincoln memorial places, the louisville baseball museums, and a big area called mammoth cave. Some other stuff as well. Although in terms of horses specifically we are the best state for horses.

I didn’t get a good look at all the fossils, but the ones that look like they have wings like a butterfly are brachiopods and the spiral shells are ammonites.

I'm playing Mom here - have my ears pierced since I'm 5 ( they are pierced 3 times each ) and my belly button pierced. Ears don't hurt to be pierced - quick pinch, if that. My daughter was 2 when her ears were pierced the first time. Ear lobes are easy to keep clean, and don't take long to heal. My Mom opinion - she's too young to have her belly button pierced. It can be much more painful, harder to keep clean, and longer to heal. Pierced ears first - belly button piercing in her 20s.

Like Colleen, I got my belly button pierced. It looks best if you have an “inny” belly button. It doesn’t hurt because it doesn’t have many nerves. I had mine pierced with a gold ring. I kept it clean and had to turn the ring so it didn’t adhere to the skin. It’s a great stress reliever just to be able to turn it around and around. No pain when I had my ears pierced at age 13. As an adult, I had two more ear piercings in each ear.

I have quite a few piercings. I had my belly button pierced when I was about 13. Unfortunately, my body rejected it and it became SO infected. While I was sleeping it caught on a blanket and it ripped out. I have a permanent scar from it. Overall, I would get it again if I slimmed down. It was by far one of the least painful piercings to get done and definitely very cute.

I had my ears pierced 5 times. My belly button I also got pierced. The belly button piercing hurt so bad I almost passed out! I also have 10 tatoos. No pain compared to that of the belly piercing.

Here is a idea about the fuzzy zoom in on the camera. If you get a opportunity to have a 2nd camera and place it facing down from above to a section of desk that has maybe a lime green construction paper so when you place a item on it the contrast will show up well. Is the second horse model a Gypsy Varner? Garen, you would LOVE the annual Gem & Mineral Show here in Tucson. It takes over the entire city and there’s no way to cover all of it. In an area for kids, the local school kids all get an egg carton and pick which rocks/fossils they like. Then they get to study them in school.

I remember that a nurse friend of mine told me that the farther away from the heart a piercing is, the more prone it is to infection.

yeah the belly button piercing is gonna cause a bit of pain and always be crusty so you gotta clean it more than ears, and when it gets snagged on shirts (especially while healing) you’ll want to scream but hey when she’s old enough she’ll probably know someone with the belly piercing and see how it is lol

The shaved facial hair look is insanely different from your normal full beard look. You look alright either way but its just super different from your usual type of look. I have a fully connected beard and thick facial hair but I have never actually let it grow past an inch or so. I still feel weird if I ever shave down to stubble. Its like I am a completely different person. Although I do have a full thick head of hair so I don't have to deal with being bald on my head along with having a baby face when I shave lol. I always consider letting my beard grow out but for quite a while I had trouble figuring out how to properly line up my beard well enough that I liked it. I would always mess my beard up and just have to start over. I am 23 and I have been shaving since 15. Didn't switch to a razor blade for shaving until my 20s. Took a while to get a hang of the razor blade cutting my beard.

Get your ears done first. You may find that you are sensitive to certain metals. If you want to get your belly button done, wait till you are in your mid 20's. You never know, you might change your mind later in life.

Do ears first. I'd wait a year or two for a belly button ring - if she even still wants one. (You know... Fads and all.)
