While watching klusener innings remembering past 1999 wc semis still it is heart breaking for proteas.

Great innings by Twose to set up the game as well. People forget how much of a talent he was, and what a purple patch he had for the year or so around the '99 World Cup.

Indeed, he had a great average for a NZ player of the era, partly as batting conditions could be difficult in NZ at the time.
Roger twose and Fleming were very consistent players around this time ! They were actually backbone of kiwis batting line up ! Zulu was the best of the beasts !

Miss those days cricket. Now a days cricket is professional but it lost its originality.
This series was all about this innings and Nicky boje scoring 2 centuries as a pinch hitter !

Past is only nice playing 7 match 5 match and cb series natwest series.

It is, but he'd only been in the ODI squad for a year at this point, NZ also had an extremely long(but somewhat fragile) batting lineup in this era - due to the plethora of all-rounders.

Kyuki grim smith and lance kalusner ki aapas me nahi banti thi. Grim smith ne klusenar par team me foot dalne ka aaroop lagaya tha. Grim smith ke 2003 world cup ke baad captain bane.karib ek saal baad klusener nesmith ki wajah se sanyas le liya tha.
