South Africa votes in election 30 years after end of apartheid | BBC News

Next week South Africans head to the polls, 30 years on from the nations first democratic election.
That election back in 1994 followed decades of a brutal and racist apartheid regime.
The BBC's special correspondent Fergal Keane was reporting there at the time and has returned to the county to see what has changed and what hasn't.

It might hard since the perpetrators are also BBC beneficiaries and British colonist and not Africans. At least try as reporter

The ANC will win again. This is because of misguided loyalty and nostalgia. South Africans still believe that voting it out will be a betrayal to Mandela,Sisulu and Tambo. And yet these starlwarts-if they would come back-would actually encourage them to vote it out-as they wouldn't be able to recognize it themselves.

If you mean the vote in 1994, this was SUPPOSED to be the end of an age of tribalism in Zuid Afrika and a new age of a democratic government. Sadly many in the the leadership there actually want tribalism back. Here in The UK it seems many on leadership want tribalism here too. Perhaps it is driven by followers of The World Economic Forum - Klaus Scwab has boasted he has placed many of those who studied on 'Young Leadership' courses at The WEF into the government's cabinets of many key nations around the world. Perhaps the investigative journalists in The BBC woukd lkke to look into the work of these traitors within democratic nations; who seek to destroy the sovereignty of nations from within to establish their vision of an atheistic, Marxist global government? While doing this one might be abke to check on the significance on the signing - by over 100 world keaders - of the document, The Global Compact for Migration. Does this legalise every petson who crosses borders either away from border crossings, without paperwork or perhaps makes borders irrelevant in the new world that has been planned for us all by elites?

Actually there is no corruption by the ANC. The ANC is taking care of every citizen in South Africa. Nobody is poor. Nobody is hungry. There is no crime in South Africa. Education in South Africa is one of the best in the world. The only thing that the ANC should continue to worry about is the oppression of the Hamas terrorists by the apartheid regime of the Jewish state. Ha

How African Slavery Civilized Britain Over the course of three centuries, Britain became the largest slaving nation in the world and the slave trade grew to become Britain’s largest and most profitable industry. Britain generated an estimated equivalent of four trillion pounds on the unpaid labour of slaves. Britain owes its very existence as a first world nation to the African slave trade. Great Britain’s economic way of life was formed by slavery: about it revolved, and on it depended, most of Britain’s other industries.

Yes, the ANC has done immense damage to South Africa but the real issues are the IMF and a global economic system which protects private property at all costs. The ANC had to implement neoliberal reforms not because they wanted to but because the so-called Washington Consensus made anything else impossible. Corruption is not the reason for economic inequality but another symptom of the very same root cause, which is the neoliberal US-dominated world order.

In your reporting, please highlight the vibrant and beautiful aspects of South Africa, such as Johannesburg, Sandton City, Cape Town, and Durban. It is important to delve into the narrative that, despite significant development in these areas, there are still communities facing hardships. This duality underscores the need to tell African stories from an African perspective. Western media often portrays Africa predominantly through a negative lens. By showing both the challenges and the progress, we can provide a more balanced and accurate representation. This approach is essential to counteract the misconceptions that lead people in other countries to view Africa as underdeveloped. It is crucial to present a comprehensive story that reflects the complexities and richness of the African experience.
