South Africa didn't show a conscience when Sudan dictator Omar al-Bashir waged a genocidal war in Darfur. They welcomed al-Bashir with open arms, even when the ICC (which South Africa is a party to) issued an arrest warrant on him for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Sorry friend. You don't know the truth. We have local genocide here in South Africa, against the White farmers who are being murdered freely. The law, president and politicians have done nothing to stop these gruesome murders. In fact it might be encouraged by certain people of political and state influences. There's not many arrests that have been executed and culprits walk free. The president has told foreign countries that there is no such thing as White farm murders in SA, which is a lie and denial. Many Whites and other minority races have suffered extreme tragedies in South Africa due to the racism against White and other minority races. Criminals have been set free on many occasions, thus leading to a high increase in crime. SA now has the highest murder rate. We have to watch every step that we take, looking over our shoulders to check and be aware of hijackers, robbers and killers. The courts of SA has no ethics in interfering with a war between other countries when they can't even resolve the crime and genocide in their own country. This facade by South Africa is purely for political or other gain. It is an attempt to keep the governing party, the ANC in power so that they can destroy the country just like Zimbabwe. Also due to the upcoming elections this year 2024.

Very powerful. Thank you South Africa for making this case. As an American, I have been appalled by the unqualified support for this military action by my country. Hopefully, the world will act with sanity and compassion and demand Israel suspend its ongoing military action in Gaza. Whatever atrocities were committed on October 7th, they cannot justify what Israel has been doing since.

I pray that reason and accountability prevail. Justice for Palestinians, and all who have been harmed and killed unnecessarily. Life and the quality of life is God given and precious, no one ought unnecessarily endeavor to take that away. May the weight of the evidence speak for those who could not; who cannot. 🙏

You are for reason and accountability for all. Palestine being topic represented by you as someone with ties to such. Calling out a specific country and side is not excluding but speaking of its own state. I wish for restoration of Palestine as independent people while embracing a burning wish for safety and co-operation and striving for green house for people within it. As I think of Gaza and Palestine I think of not just religion but also acts of love not as they are but what it is for.

First of all Armenians were living under the Ottoman Passport for couple centuries back then. They revolted, the help they expected from Russia didn’t arrive on time. So since they were Ottoman citizens for couple centuries and they revolted this makes them terrorists and they got what they deserve from the ruling state. If Spanish speaking people suddenly want separation from the US they would be treated as terrorists. Turks ethically cleansed the region afterwards. Either you like it or not. Why Armenia is not going to court?

If I remember correctly, donkey years ago, the ICJ ruled that Israel was an “occupying force”, so it has no right to self-defense, this also pertains to Palestinians, I think it was West Bank. Israel then ignored the ICJ’s ruling and the whole world STFU. So what makes anyone think that Israel would this time accept the ICJ’s ruling this time round and not show ICJ its middle-finger? Besides, ICJ is under United Nations, which is controlled and 'owned' by the US. Israel is protected by the US in everything it is doing to the Palestinians in Gaza. Say if ICJ rules against Israel, it has to go to the UNSC to enforce it and remember that US has veto powers. So this whole charade is just for show, although I am sure South African has every good intentions. As long as the warmongering US is protecting Israel, there is NOTHING the entire world can do about it, period. Anyone disagrees?

Unless the entire world rise to act against both israel and the US. It would be improbable to stop them. But it can also prove to the world that these two countries only act on military power and not on moral grounds. Also makes the argument that America cannot be the worlds sole superpowèr

Plot twist - The ICC had an arrest warrant against President Omar al Bashir of Sudan for genocide in Darfur but South Africa refused to arrest him and instead let him flutter in and out of the country at his whims. I guess mass rape, systematic murder and war crimes doesn't count when it's your friends commiting them...
