Sous Vide Showdown:Picanha vs Tri Tip….Which One Wins?

Using the sous vide cooker with a Picanha and Tri-Tip in this video. Trying to decide which is better....too hard to tell. Both are fantastic! Try these at your place and see for yourself!
You can probably tell I’m more comfortable outside but it was just too cold to do more than just sear the steaks out there today. It was high teens with a wind chill in the single digits when I filmed this…..and I was still more comfortable out there than in the kitchen!

    I did a picanha in the sous vide. First I sliced it into 5 steaks and dry brined it at 1.5 % salt with spg that I make, the salt in my spg is 68% by weight of the spg. I weighed each steak and did the math to have 1.5 % salt on each piece. Then dry brined 24 hours. I used my inkbird set at 130 and seared over charcoal just like you did 6 people thought it was the best steak ever. Good video thank you

    I really wanted to dry brine but I didn't have the time! I bet it was fantastic! I usually always dry brine, just didn't have the time. Thanks for watching!
