Paul Barton is a musician and a scientist. He puts in time and effort and speakers do not get released to the market before they are as perfect as they can be. A pair of speakers from him will last you 30-40 years before you have to do any service on them. Good job, Paul. Please keep doing what you are doing. Your speakers are world class, but still very affordable.

This video sounds great on my 16-year old pair of Image 4T speakers from PSB. My speakers are dependable and they still look great and perform like the day I bought them.

I purchased a pair of PSB Image 7PT's 16 years ago because of their great sound and design. Their performance seemed unmatched in their class at the time and they sound as good as ever. But when I read about this new Imagine T3 speaker and the many awards and positive reviews it has received I could not resist giving them a try so just today ordered a pair of them. I am very anxious to connect them to a recently acquired MAC 6700 integrated amplifier.

If you are on a budget then get the PSB X2T & you’ll get a really good speaker comparable to a $2k/speaker.

I love this man, I have a "vintage" set of PSB 800's... and as the Model suggests they retailed for $800 for the pair, not the top of the line models at the time, but to me they are an amazing set of speakers that have given me and my friends many hours of listening pleasure, Cheers Paul !

I own T3s since a good few weeks, and must say straight up they are fiddly to set up in my room. However, I believe I'm slowly getting there. The bass is still booming and that needs adressing because I feel it's masking the mids. A slight toe-in (PSB suggests if I remember correctly 10 degrees) makes them image quite well but for me these need to be off-axis in order to stay relaxed sounding. I listen mostly to 50s jazz, modern big band and prog rock. They seem to prefer classical music where their level of detail and neutral sound fits like a glove. Listening to my favorite singers has been mixed - some just didn't sound like I knew they should. So, a few weeks in I'm still working on that

4 months on either my ears have gotten used to the T3s, or I got them dialled in along the way - anyway they sound just right. Thanks, Paul

Check out the PSB M4U 2 or PSB M4U 8. I think they are truly amazing headphones, and I feel that the PSB M4U 8 are the better choice of the two. I was responsible for the "personal audio section (i.e. headphones)" of the local Hi-Fi expo, and I got to listen to literally hundreds of headphones of all prices (except the 45K Sennheisers, the line was too long... :/ ) and my task was to help people find and try out the best sets for them. Everyone had opinions about every headset; too high, too bassy, uncomfortable, etc. Except for the PSB which were the single exception. NOT A SINGLE PERSON disliked the PSBs. Though I have to say they don't strike me as the best sound I've ever heard, sadly, yet they are still very, very difficult to dislike. So I suggest you give them a try and hear for yourself. ;) (And yes, I'm listening to this on my computer with a 5.0 combination of two Avanté front speakers, with a Century 200Ci center and two rear Century 400i speakers, which are all PSB speakers.)

Probably worse as their cabinets allow standing waves, but then the software today allows for much better fine tuning so?

youtert Videos never definitely mean that a review is coming up, but we do have one coming of the T3. The speaker that you see behind Paul Barton, along with the matching one, were delivered to Doug Schneider's house shortly after the video was shot.
