This looks and sounds like a starting point for an entire album. I´ve done similar things with piles upon piles of software and effects with crazy amounts of automation, so this is a great concept for sound design within one plug. There´s no way to resist, I´m buying this now!

INSPIRED! It looks almost as beautiful and hypnotic as it sounds. I was looking for a granular synth of this ilk too, alchemy and omnisphere just haven't been doing it for me and Glitchmachines (which brought me here) is the other kind of granular colour, the more metallic than ethereal/cosmic. Between polygon and this I can hear some good times coming :)

Need this in my life.

I've just departed Kyma and am diving into VR and Binaural. This means that I absolutely love you and EVERYTHING YOUR HAVE MADE and can't wait to get this to the studio!! One thing: are any Soundmorph products able to be controlled via OSC/MPE? This would make it great for live performance in studio and on stage.

hey i love the synth, its just 1 problem im having. my CPU is skyrocketing with this plugin! any tips? I have a macbook pro 2.7 GHz intel i5 ios 10.12.6. usually ableton barely uses 10-12% but now its skyrocketing, if i try to freeze the track dust is using, it crashes ableton

You can now. I'm just trying out the latest version, and for each emitter you can choose either a sample or live input. Very cool, but also, as I am finding out, very complex.

I got this today and tried to use presets from presets pulldown but unfortunately the presets pulldown does not work. How can I use them? I have all presets files from soundmorph. is it need something activation for use factory preset?

When I drag/drop a sample to the window, it won't play. It actually shows the name but the duration is 0sec, no matter what file I use. I am on a macOs. Anyone else having the same issue?

Would be great to see some examples showing the starting/source sounds and the end result.

Where do I start? Firstly I love Soundmorph products. Second, this guy could easily do a voice over for Ray Romano. Thirdly, how long is the university course to fully grasp this freakin monster of a plugin?? Thank you Soundmorph.

Hello! Yes we will have a demo version for release, probably in early 2017, granted we should of had that ready at release, but we will for sure have one available soon.

I bought this on sale over Christmas and had a quick look. Have now read the manual and watched this walkthrough and spend a few hours with this but I still can’t record any midi parts with this. I record and play but although midi shows in the daw, this doesn’t correspond to the sound being produced. How do you record tracks ? Love the sounds but the interface and midi input isn’t working for me, thanks

The midi input works but it doesn’t matter if I record any notes or not. I can just start the daw and it happily plays away without any input.

questions. can you also use it as an effect and play a piano vst and it gets effected? no intro price? no demo?

musicotaku666 From the video I think you can, where the sample editor is there's a source control and I THINK you can select other things than the sample - resulting in it taking an Audio Input from else where. Well I hope so.

It's $99.00. You can spend $99.00 these days with very little to show for it. I know just to take my family of four to the theater it cost me close to $70.00. and that's just for a couple of hours.

Recently installed Dust, having issues where basically I'm just not getting any sound. Some of the presets will automatically play without any input when selected, the rest don't play at all. Also when I try to plug in samples or anything else I don't get any sound. Tried a few things, but couldn't get it to work :\ Still trying, any help?

Yep, bought it on sale, installed it. It seems to play on its own sometimes with no midi note triggered. All keys sound the same and once it starts it doesn’t stop. Great sounds but struggling to find this useful and integrate it into anything

Yeah, same issues for me too, owned this for over a year now and keep going back to it but fail to create anything really useful here. It just does it's own thing with no real control over what's happening.

Mmhhh...i updated, i can´t see all my custom patches anymore and the FX version seems useless since it just works (and not good) with the auto sequencer. Sorry but that was not a good one. Could you please post a video how to use the FX version? I was fighting for Dust but now i feel a bit bad......

Oh, my patches are back after i copied them in the new folder (but i liked the document folder more for my patches). So far the instrument works great as before. The FX version is a pretty mess sadly. I forget about it and move on. However, thank´s for the chromatic option. It´s useful for me.

Yeah it's cool but feels unfinished and a bit limited. But it's great for what you can do with it.

I purchased this plugin and I am quite disappointed with the documentation. For example - there is DUST-FX file and there is no single word in the documents how to use it. I placed it on the track and there is no sound. I placed somesynth in front of it (on the same track) and still no sound. I was quite excited watching this video, but now it really looks like unfinished product :-(

funny how the voice was recorded first, so they mouse guy has to always try to catch up yo what is being said :)

Why in the h*ll would you go through the trouble of making such a plugin without multi-channel outputs? Nobody in post-production will touch this thing.
