I ordered the exact same speakers for my 2020 Ram. I added a 4 way amplifier for my 6x9's. That amp makes those speakers SCREAM!!!! Then I add a 12" powered sub under my back seat. Everything sounds AWESOME!!!!

Didnt Clutchfield send the right harness for free with the speakers? I ordered mine and they gave the harness and speaker adapters for free and they all were plug and play. Infinity is a nice upgrade, you got the 3 ways , those are nice.

you went from an 8ohm speaker in the dash, to a 3 ohm speaker. that is a large jump (in speaker terms) and the factory amp/hu is going to be humming (running hot). Are the dash and door speakers run in series or does RAM use 8ohm speakers all around? Those Infinity REF speakers are 3 ohm and are going to sound extremely loud compared to the 8ohm factory speakers. Have you noticed any ill effects w/the 3 ohm speakers?

Good job. Plan to get a full set of Reference OR Kappa for interior. I already have Kappa 8 subs in the trunk. infinity has shallow 10 or 12 inch subs, perfect for a sealed truck box.

What did you end up getting? I've got a whole Kappa system, 3way front components and 2 way coax rear plus the 10in sub with the Kappa 1000w amp. Just waiting to install everything. Signal will come from a Kenwood DMX1057XR, processed and powering the doors through a JL Audio vx800 8ch DSP amp

@@Chaotik_Pranxter Turns out my amp was drawing too much current for the stock alternator, so before doing the fun stuff I had to address my electrical. I got a 320A alternator, next step is to run 1 gauge power/ground wire and add a small 4channel for those Ref door speakers. The goal is to be efficient, not necessary loud.

@@milesbachelor8747 I agree. I'm hoping my sto k electrical will hold. I might be 1200-1500w rms, stock is a 120A alternator. I can go 220A if need be, but the install is already costly, sound deadening, wiring and install, plus DSP tuning.

@@josephstewart2580 no i have the Infinity reference 2 way 6x9s in all doors no spacers needed. That is the reason I went with those. I have a single JL w1 v3 10 in my truck on a JL 250/1 it jams and doesn't take up much space at all. I had 2 skar svr 10s on a skar 1500.1 in my 2015 ram.
