Charles, you really have to cover the song "The Fatherless And The Widow" by Sixpence None The Richer. It would be epic.

@@ReedsRedactions One of the features he mentioned for the earbuds was multipoint pairing, allowing connection to multiple devices. I just wanted to know if he had tried it, so I replied to the pinned advertisement comment about the earbuds, which seemed logical to me.
Music teacher: What's up with your bass? It doesn't have any frets? Oh well. I'll let it slide.

I love how Charles is slowly becoming a multi instrumentalist genius composer, it’s so fun to see him progress through the years! It’s so inspiring, it shows that even the best can be better than they were before. Cheers, Charles!

whose up for a charles + jacob collier super group?
Before youtube; how many other deep feeling, talented people sat on the edge of their beds expressing themselves through playing music that we shall never know about ? This young man is very fortunate indeed.

I think about that often. Imagine how many amazing songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s 90s and so on that could have been major hits but were never heard by anyone but the author.
The way you articulate harmonics on both the fretless and acoustic make for a really evocative piece! Chilling as always Charles \m/

harmonics are such a cheatcode for string instruments... everything just sounds better with em
I think Paul Simon would be proud to have written a song that can sound this beautiful. Gorgeous arrangement, perfect execution, great respect for the source material, and unbelievable artistic ability on top. This is what unique talent and hard work looks like, and we're all enriched to bear witness. Thank you Charles!
I love that you kept the vocal harmonies in your version. I really shouldn't have been surprised that a maestro would manage that, but this is, indeed, hauntingly good. Thank you for posting this fuller version!
Probably my favourite song of all time. Absolutely beautiful rendition!
Absolutely beautiful. This and Disturbed version has me crying hard. My daughter introduced me to Disturbed version. She passed away 26th November last year aged 30 from cancer. Today is my 59th birthday. Thank you Charles, my Laura would have loved this as much as i do,

Acoustic guitar and fretless bass's collab is gorgeous please more acoustic guitar videos... 😊
Finally, been waiting for you to do a full cover of this song, your fretless bass sound is just so beautiful, I could listen to it for hours. ❤
I started crying hearing this because it's so well done and beautiful! No one, and I mean no one, plays the bass guitar better than you as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to see Charlie actually having a bass-off with Mark King.
This is the first time I've sat through the ad segment, and I can't believe the amount of dunking on guitar that I have been missing.
This song could be beautiful in any kind of version but this one was absolutely gorgeous!
A wonderful version. Thank you.
Quite frankly, that was an absolute masterpiece, both in terms of your playing and the composition of that piece!! You still surprise and impress us on a regular basis! Outstanding - as always!!
I can relate; when I am doing chores around the kitchen, you will often see me putting a disappointing guitar in the trash bin as well. Life is too short.
Simon & Garfunkel never sounded better. This song came out when I was about 5. I remember hearing it on the radio and by the time I was on elementary school it was one of favorites. As I grew older I started to really listen to the lyrics. One of the best songs of the 60's and still makes we think of society and the 'what ifs' - Charles once again you have blown me away.
Good Lord, the most beautiful rendition of The Sounds of Silence I’ve ever heard…totally gave me the chills. You are absolutely amazing. I could listen all day❤️
WOW!! Even S&G didn't perform this song this well. Bravo, Charles!!👏👏👏
how you can make such an Ode to 4 + 20 is simply beyond me. you are a true Legend.
"So much to, I'll just put this on in the background". Nope, impossible - demands your full attention. Beautiful.
I have heard many of your pieces, yet you still left me in awe. Absolutly wonderful.
This was so awesome man! I absolutely love this song, and your rendition is beautiful. Thank you, and keep it up!
I love the harmonics! I've recently been working on them myself and it's really cool to see them in action!
Absolutely fantastic rendition! Your control of harmonics on both acoustic and fretless is incredible. So well composed, played and mastered!! Thanks!
So glad you did a full rendition of this song. Was really moved by the one you did in a short a while ago! Cant get enough of theses fretless bass slide harmonics!
I am digging the longer videos. This was a great composition. The fretless bass works really well with the vocal harmony.
I like that you have the wide range of instruments to choose for every song and you can make it just perfect. Great work with sound and music. Great arrangement.
There's some amazing talent on KZread, and Charles is right up there with the best.
Soo beautifull and pleasant to hear it from you playing it on the fretless bass
One of my favorite songs! Love your take on it! 👏👏👏
You put the FUNK into Simon and GarFUNKel. 🤟🔥
On god this is what I’ve needed ever since you did that short a while back.
Love the additional layer! Well done sir!
As a cellist of nearly 6 years (not an extremely long time, but it's 40% of my life,) I love your fretless bass renditions. It would be so nice to hear Humoresque No. 7 by Dvorak on this instrument, if you could spare the time. But anything you play is just fine!
I love the piccolo bass on this one! Acoustic too!
I love this fretless songs...... could listen for hours. You do a great job!
I absolutely love it. Could listen to it looping for hours, it's just perfection as always. Thanks Charles 🙂
BRAVO!! Another masterpiece. This is one of my all-time favorite songs, and this one tops the list!
The 6-string Acoustic Bass sounds also heavenly in collab to the fretless! ❤

This is one of my favorite videos you have made.
Beautiful playing!
Those harmonic pinches ... on a fretless bass ... whaaaaaaaaat ... Charles this is stunning xxx
Nice nice, very nice acoustic version, thanks so much Charles👍
That was lovely Charles. Thank you.
Brilliant!! And brilliantly executed!
Great arrangement. The harmonics are otherworldly!
Just simply beautiful.
Magical! Mesmerizing! Thank you so much!
Absolutely blown away by this rendition
Thank you for your wonderful cover!
That was beautiful! Thanks, Mate!
thank you. i really needed this after a very long day (and period of time)
Stunningly beautiful arrangment and playing! ❤
Insanely beautiful rendition!!!
Absolutely Amazing!!!
Absolutely brilliant!
Please make a frettless bass cover album, I'd have it on every night!
I loved it, Charles!
A beautiful rendition that not only does justice to the original, but reminds me that silence is not always a good thing, and not to be passive but but proactive.
Thank you so much for this!!!
Loved it! Beautiful! You are such a technician.
Great job!! 🔥🔥
Wow. Beautiful version
That was about the most beautiful piece I've ever heard! Just beautiful! Thanks for giving us a great way to end a day!
Amazing playing, keep uploading!
I didn’t like this song too much since I’ve listened it played for you. Incredible. Amazing. Thanks for your talent and musicianship !!
Insanely musical and brilliant bass playing to boot. Thanks Charles.
So inspiring for my own bass playing! Even though this blows away anything I've ever done, it keeps me motivated! Excellent cover!
Wow, I love that fretless bass!!! You are such an inspiration for me to keep playing. Although not like that yet, I will get there some day.
Absolutely amazing technically, brilliant musically. Well done yet again Charles.
Finally a full version, this is amazing
Always a masterful composition !! Great job !!! Amazing
Tell me guys! Am i the only one who think Charles is underated on KZread... Less than 2 millions sub... He deserves at least 9 millions and more... Let us help him achieve that...
Brilliant arrangement! Lovely contrasts between verses. No need to put electric guitar to thrash can. I can give it a caring home in Finland.
Charles, you never disappoint. Amazing.
Outstanding! As usual! Cheers!
Absolutely stunning!!!!
A beautiful rendition... and, of course, it's Charles. Well done
Very nice! Thanks!
Very nice. I can't think of another single person who can perform such a beautiful duet.
Amazing job here !! Love your videos, and I would love to compose with you!!
Paul Simon was one of my life long music habits. Most known for his fantastic lyrics, he also picked some mean tones as well. He was always happy to see another artist trying to better him; I think he would have liked your take on it. Awesome!
That was beautiful Charles
It's so beautifully executed mate.....Sublime....🫶
That was amazing Charles 👏 🙌 ❤
Outstanding. Thanks for making this video. I am enjoying watching your performance journey. Very uplifting.
amazing charles!
Good Lordie Lou! Your arrangement of this is actually moving! So talented!
Oh man, this must be one of your best ones! Incredible
Love the tone you have on the fretless. Sounds great.
This is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
Amazing, as always!
Thank you so much for doing it based on the original. This sounds amazing!!
Very nice. I'm not entirely sure I've seen you with an acoustic short scale 6 string piccolo bass before, but I'm all for it!
