What an astoundingly beautiful piece of skillfully played music this is. I was a guitarist for decades before arthritis set in, I tried playing fretless bass, it's an extremely difficult instrument to 'master' but this guy makes it look almost effortless. The skillful playing is important, rather than focusing on the instrument being played, we hear and fully appreciate the music.

Musical talents are like others : doable. You just need to put efforts in it and you'll get there. Don't doubt of yourself, the first step is always the hardest ! Buy a good but cheap bass or any instrument, mix music theory with song learning and you'll have a quite good level rapidly. As always the hard thing is to put consistency in, otherwise it's fun and if you're really interested in learning an instrument, you'll get there in no time ! No excuses anymore, it's time to chase what you really want bro 🙌🤘

As an old bass player that learned how to play the bass by the entire Black Album....you sir made my day! That was breathtakingly haunting as it was beautiful. I would give anything to see this very performance on a Metallica stage!! I never had the chance to see them live. I can't afford their ticket prices nowadays...but if you were there....I'd go without just to see it on their stage with their entire audio setup. What a piece of Heaven that would be!

Charles, I was amazed watching & listening to many of your performance, but for me this is absolutely the favorite one. I could easily listen to the whole song, with the solo, etc., regardless this is quite a long song originally. Because you played it with so much sensibility and perfection. I wish you would play more themes and songs in this style...! Fretless, tapping, harmony and beautiful melodies...
