Thanks so much. Necessity breeds innovation as I have had tinnitus (ringing ears) in both ears (at two different frequencies, mind you) for over 25 years. Without background sounds to block the noise I would have gone insane years ago. Ergo, I am motivated to find and record unique soundscapes

God this is the best one I've heard. The rain hitting leaves, animals, and even a vehicle can be heard. It's so much more calming than any others.

I miss this. I was raised south if Raven, Kentucky. I live in Chicago now. I miss the rain in the trees. The birds were quiet, it was just rain. I miss this a lot!

I used to live on Bluff Mountain and played music in Pigeon Forge. I have heard some rain storms that felt like they shook the ground under you. I went camping one week in Elkmont and it rained on me for 5 days in a row. But, I slept so good ! I love the Smoky Mountains and have many wonderful memories. Thank you so much for this beautiful sound of nature and sharing it with us.

This video helps me to sleep sometimes. My little doggy liked it too. Listening to it helped him to relax and fall asleep when he got very sick. Thank you.

This is awesome. I miss forest rain. I especially miss the sound of rain in a river with a nearby waterfall... that's some soothing and relaxing sounds.

When that thunder rolls... beautiful. So relaxing.

Beautiful. We are finally selling our warehouse in the city and hoping to move up on the side of the mountains here, and after over 12 years here in the city, I need all of the country and nature that I can get! Thank you for such a peaceful and beautiful sound video. It is very much appreciated.

This is my happy place, my go-to getaway from politics, coronavirus, all things sad. I put foam earplugs in, then headphones tuned to this url, and I go to a pleasant peaceful relaxing place, a sweet home where life makes sense. It is a healing place, a Rivendell, a haven of hope it gets me through..I bless whomever it is that created this sacred space.Thank you so much.

It is the best rain sound. It makes me comfortable.

You are welcome. I have had people tell me here that birds do not sing in the rain. I live on a mountain.. and they do. I even occasionally hear crickets and other critters during a rain shower. Glad you like it!

I like this particular rain ambiance video for several reasons. 1. you can pick up the individual drips, which is so peaceful against the larger rain sound. 2. it's done in foliage and rain sounds particularly good when there are lots of leafs to drip off. Great video, not surprised as all your videos are awesome as usual Brad!

I have the fan on me, it almost feels like the wind from the rain, if only I could smell the rain, it would be so nice, I just love rain in nature! The sounds of the birds singing is so cool, those two things go together so well.

Listening to this wrapped in a warm blanket, on a comfy chair, with a good book and hot chocolate...that's all I need...This video is so peaceful! Thanks for posting this!

This is fantastic. Last summer I took a vacation to Gatlinburg Tenn. and went on a 6 mile hike up a mountain in a medium to moderate rain, just like in the video. Listening to it brings back the aromas of the rain-soaked mountain to my memory. Thanks for the post.

Brad McBride One of the few things I enjoyed about the 13 hr drive from Alabama to Michigan when my ex and I were together was the shale deposits you see when you're coming into and out of Tennessee..I was wondering if you'd ever had the opportunity to see any of those on your travels.They're beautiful when they're dry..but when it's been raining...there's no words to describe how beautiful they are.

I seriously listen to this every night and it puts me out like a light :)

Anyone else hear that?! I don't think we're alone in these woods...

i have witness this 1st hand.....my mother lived in gatlinburg mountains...the air is chrisp and clean and the rain sounds great...wife and i got married at Brookside resort..with a cabin by the creek...it was heaven on earth.

My boyfriend and I listen to this most nights while we sleep. So soothing!

This is great. I suffer from pretty bad tinnitus. Having 'white noise' helps cancel out the constant screeching in my ears. I have always loved the sound of rain on a tin roof, so this is perfect. so relaxing. Thank you.

Thank you for providing these soothing sounds. For more than a year at work I have listened to your recording at the same time with the music that I listen to at work. It goes perfectly with whatever music I have on. It is a lovely way to navigate the day.

I've been under tons of stress and family problems recently, unable to stay asleep more than an hour or two at a time. I put this on my bedroom stereo last night and slept through the night for the first time in weeks and woke up feeling refreshed. This is the best rain video I've ever heard! Thank you so much.

The mourning dove cooing in the background makes this 1000% better.

Most sound videos don't come with actual footage. Just a static picture. I have trouble sleeping and have for some time. I have always needed a fan or some other soothing sound to drift off. This is perfect especially for someone quite fond of rainy days over sunny ones. Listening to even a few minutes is all I need to drift off. Thank you.

I don't think it takes an outdoorsman to desire escaping the world these days..

A nice rain shower emulates White Noise - which helps children ( and us adults) sleep. However, I personally prefer rain sounds to White Noise! Glad it helps ;:^)

Are an adult now?

Spent 4 days rained in on a ruff pack in. On the N. Carolina Tn trail. The best days of my life...

The sounds don't stop... there is just a lull in the rain and it picks up again.

So calming, been listening to it for an hour straight and it's awesome!

As a pro drummer that didn't use ear plugs in the beginning, I have it too. For some reason though, it's never bothered me even when I'm not falling asleep to white noise. I just love the sound of rain

You are very welcome. Discovering that background sounds helped me is the motivation behind this channel and my website. I thought insomnia would be the death of me ( it was that bad) and spent years on sleep medication. I never realized it was my ringing ears that kept me awake... as crazy as that sounds

Your video, this one is the best in this category. I have to say this with all honesty. There are several factors: Gentle rain, the sound of the flowing water, and gentle ( not shocking) sound of the roll of thunder. It reminds me of India's south west monsoon. As a child I used to play in the rain ( of course, when my mother is busy in the kitchen), making boats of paper and sending down the streams of rain water This video has given me that sense of bliss and careless childhood once again. It helps me to study / sleep depending on what I need to do. One request, if you can make this video a little bit longer, of ten hours, so that I can sleep longer on weekends. I like rain sounds in particular.Thank you again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VIDEO. It is pure and timeless joy!

I love this one.Turning it up really brings out the details in the aural experience and I'm suddenly transported to the woods.I can smell the pine feel the slippery wet leaves on the ground under foot.The crisp snap of branches and the subdued bird sounds in the dreaming rain.

I have always had trouble with headphones or ear buds... having destroyed both in my sleep. Wireless ear buds might work for me.
