A concomitance that I believe I can define miraculous... two E402B 'posing'.
The isolated 402-126 coming from the IFT Surbo Scalo, stops at the entrance protection signal of the Lecce station, on the track dedicated to transits to and from Lecce - IFT Surbo Siding.
This unit was on its way to Lecce station to pull back an ICN that had arrived in Lecce about twenty minutes earlier.
A few minutes later it was reached and flanked by the 402-122 in traction of the ICN757 Torino P.N.-Lecce and also stopped at the protection signal.
All this to allow the REG4396 Lecce-Bari C.le to leave the Lecce station. it probably started from platform 1 which forced it to cross most of the switches of the station entrance beam to get on his platform.
An extremely rare and unpredictable opportunity to which I had the luck, the patience, and... the excitement, to witness and enjoy.
Normally the entrance to the Lecce station does not include stops at this portal.
For both E402Bs the start-up sound is clearly audible, in this case, both under load and isolated, amplified by the position surrounded by natural and concrete walls.
