Zach Milt you can’t really “tune” without a dsp . I will Try to Make a video on adjusting gains and using the basic radio eq to get you Close

I've got a 2000 Yamaha Road Star 1600, big v twin. I've got 4 speakers in the fairing and 2 6 x 9's in the rear bags. Want to run 2- EVOX 800.4, one to run the fronts one to do the rear. Do I need to but in a fuse block and what's the smallest wire to run to the head unit where the amps will be located? Love the vids!!! Big help to all of us! Thanks man. I have a 400.4 that I love, but just last weekend one of the channels blew but for all my amateur experience I can't see a fuse to swap out and am not getting far with a continuity meter. I left my set unattended and didn't realise that somebody had turned the gain to maximum. It didn't help that on that day one of the negative connections back to amp from mids and top box was loose. I wonder if you'd have any advice? What's the most likely component to be looking at to replace?

I have a 2012 road glide cvo. Currently running 2 Diamond Audio MSpro65 in lowers, 2 Digital Design 5 1/4 and 2 horn tweeters in fairing with a 800.4 sound digital amp. I want to add a 10in midbass in my bags and would love a anp and speaker recommendation. None of the following is actually on my bike but I currently have 2 DD VOw8s, 2 Diamond Audio MS PRO 8s, and 2 PRV 8s but they're all midrange and I want midbass. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m pretty sure it’s installed wrong . We have installed hundreds of these amps with no issues . You’ve installed 2 and had a problem with both ?? How many speakers ? Is the amp bridged? What ohms are the speakers ? What kind of power wire are you running? ( brand and gauge size )

Question, I want to run an SD800.4S 2ohm to power the horns only on 1 x set of Beyma Pro8cxnd and 2 x set's of Beyma Pro6cxnd I will be using a DSR1 and I have 2 x SD1600.1 2ohm amps for the main driver. I want to be able to fade front to back with my horns . How would I wire this up to accomplish this?

I have 4 ds 18 at 4 ohms rated at 250 a piece. And I also have one 12 inch 2 ohm kicker solar baric rated at 750 . What size amps would be good for these speakers?

Do these little amps actually put out good power. Specifically the subwoofer amp. This is for a small car and a single 750 watt Sundown Audio subwoofer.

Question. I believe my Rockford TMS amp @100watts is not pushing my Diamond Audio 6x9 coaxsub and 6.5 full range fairing speakers to full potential. Can i adjust the amp to 2ohms to produce more power or will that cause a problem?

It is definitely not The diamonds can handle 3 times that power No way to do that with 4 - 4 ohm speakers You will Need to Upgrade to a bigger amp

Jermane Gartrell series parallel will Net you 4 ohms at the end . You will Need to use a 800.1 4 ohm . The problem is that the 800.1 is designed to run 500 hertz and down ( subwoofers and mid bass drivers ) 6.5s are mids The 800.4 2 ohm would be a better solution with 2 - 4 ohm 6.5 on each bridged channel will give you the most power to your 6.5s ( 200 watts each )

Can I use the 800.1 to power two JL 12tw3 subs? Or would you recommend something else?

I would run 2 800.4 The first one will run Tweeter and 6.5 on channel one Tweeter and 6.5 on channel two 2 6x9 on channel 3 2 6x9 on channel 4 The second 800.4 bridged to run the 2 8s

I have decided that I’m going to let these guys work on my Street Glide

I have 800.4 2 ohm currently running my 4 horns on channels 1 and 2 and my 6.5 hertz spl on channels 3 and 4. Can I bridge the 6.5 and not harm the amp? I have dsr1 also

If your two hertz spl 6.5s are 4 ohm ,you can bridge them on channels 3 and 4 and not have any issues . It will result in a 2 ohm load . That amp is 2ohm stable in bridge mode , if you indeed have the two ohm version of the sd800.4 evo s .

Just wanted to make it wouldnt over load the amp with 4 horns on two channels not bridged and the 6.5 bridged on the other two channels

Kenneth tinsley Yes you can bridge the amp and Almost double the power you are running to your 6.5 s. This will not stress the amp at all . You will lose your left to right fader ( bridging the amp makes the bridged channel mono and takes audio input from only 1 of the 2 rca)

Thanks for uploading the #. I'm from Dade County, Miami, FL. Been watching your videos for a while now. I don't have a Bike, but I do own 4 SounDigital EVO-X amps, 1 12k, 1 1200.4, 1 800.4 & 1 400.4. Set the amp gains with scope then the rest is done in the DSP. You don’t touch the amp at all after that.

The Brazilian version are a lot lower quality than the American market version. The Brazilian 1200.4 puts out as much power as the American 800.4 people think they’re saving money but they’re not and we have a lot of noise issues with the Brazilian version.

Both awesome amps I love the quality of the diamond amps but they are too big and I don’t like cutting up the customer’s bike to make them fit . The sound digital amps are smaller and more powerful. When the sound digital 800.4 was the same size as the diamond micro 4 I would use either one. Now that the new evox is so small we use them exclusively
