I tuned it after the headers were installed, you should get 02 faults from what I know if not tuned

What's the benefit of deleting it? I assume you mean deleting the secondary air pump?

@@connordelaney2536 mostly weight, only a few pounds tho. It doesn’t do much without your cats because that’s all it’s for. Heats them up to operating temp on startup. I still have mine without cats, but I’m working on tuning and deleting soon

Mine didn’t really pop much until i got it tuned, i know the manuals tend to pop a lil more often then the autos, i felt the same before the tune too haha

put your foot to the floor and press the throttle tap but release instantly (i wouldn't recommend it if you want your tranny to last)

You have to get your ecu tuned for flames

Great video just bought my E46 for $1200. The O2 spacers are a waste of money if you ever plan on getting a tune as the tuning companies can delete the catless cel code in the ECU as part of the tune.

@@raidzfn4940I bought mine for 800 it has ran great for the past 820 miles I finally did a tune up this week oil was dark as fuck I’ve found little problems here and there but nothing expensive for 228k miles it runs brand new and pulls absolutely amazing still

Did it trigger the check engine light ?

it was mix of drone and pure noise its hard to explain, was defiantly too loud though. passing 3500rpm was like waking up a monster haha

And yes you get lots of pops even when cruising you can hear small pops just regular and honestly I drive with my windows down but you get drone inside the cap with the windows down if I’m honest

It’s stupid loud. I have it, definitely get a sport muffler if you get headers. It’s doable driving slow but if you give it any gas it’s super loud so it’s less fun on the streets. Passing people is deafening xD

@@alextasarov1341 can confirm, I’m running catless eBay headers and a 2.5in straight pipe the whole way with some tips & it’s fucking obnoxiously loud, when i step off the gas it’ll pop once or twice but on a downshift it sounds like a fuckin ak 🤣

3rd to 2nd works best for me, it works in other gears too, you just have to have the right rpms
