Soul has a top five pen game in any league. Every time I watch his battles, I end up making a " I just shat myself" face and shake my head. His bars are seriously incredible. Really wish he could've faced Tony D for the title.

Soul's had mad bars from day one, he only had to work his performance/delivery. If you watch all his battles from day dot, you'll see the progression, man's on a tier that nobody can reach now. Tony will always be the champ but he realised that the next man would be Soul, so he boy'd up Unan and retired. Tone the man but Soul would kill him.

C should have battled since his clash with Soul. He had been improving dramatically with each battle! There was even a sharp improving from his battle with Chilla to that with Soul! I miss C-Major!

I've seen this battle 4-5 times now. Gets better every time. A battle fitting for a title. But also a battle that someone has to (unfortunately) lose. I agree with the final decision. Soul's pen is genuinely one of the best in battle rap - period - not just U.K. battle rap. Big ups both cats! 👊 Big ups Don't Flop! 👊

Personally have Soul 2-1. Round 1 - Cee Round 2 - Soul but Cee was slept on Round 3 - Soul but Debatable Cee had bars but i still think Soul out barred him personally. One of the best Dont Flop battles of all time will definitely go down in History of the league

Don't flop has changed a lot since 8 years ago, I think it's not as good and entertaining as it was back then.

Learning to actually rap and flow is the greatest thing Soul could've done, lol. He came a long way, from just being a good writer, to having a complete style. Cee might've won if he had showed progress in a different area, but it kinda was more of the same, except for some better-than-usual lines.

Draikofi Although many people praise Soul for his penmanship and bars I think Cee Major proved he can come heavy with the pen too. The deciding factor for me was really delivery. Cee Major's delivery is monotonous and one dimensional so the bars don't hit as hard. I tend to doze off on some of his stuff for that reason. Soul on the other hand has three dimensions to him. The raunchy Soul, the softly joking Soul and lastly medium level soul which is usually fast. That is what makes Soul's bars hit harder and ultimately a better performer.

This was a formality, a forgone conclusion. Of course Soul is DF's poster boy and that's why he got the decision. Judging is corrupt/biased at any level of any sport, even battle rap. People saying how Cee hasn't won a battle in ages went against him, then why the fuck give him a shot? I love watching both these guys battle and I'm Scottish to boot. But choking in your first at a title match should go against you for that round, regardless of how you claw the round back. And it took Soul a while to come back from that, it wasn't some minor slip up. On the day, you should bring your A game. I've seen clashes where dudes lose the whole battle for less than this. No way was this a 4-1. All those judges, Dash, Tony D, Villun...all in Eurgh's pocket......and fuckin' Agent, what the fuck does that scrub know? Couldn't rap his way out of a wet paper bag. If you are going to be biased, at least make it look convincing. Fuck sake.

LSFTD While I can't substantiate any of it of course, it's purely conjecture on my part. Although I would dare say I'm not alone in my thinking as a lot of opinions are that Cee was robbed. While I'm not saying that exactly. I happen to think it was closer than most battles tend to be. But the judging did nothing to reflect this. But I wasn't being contentious about Agent, oh no!

classic battle. imho cee edged all three rounds with rock solid consistency and swag throughout. props to soul for his (self-acknowledged) atypical style (except for his third, which was non-stop 'lyrical miracle' multies), his aggy opener and even better second round. unfortunately for him, cee remained un-phased by the 'sole' 'you don't deserve this' theme and audaciously convinced me that soul was actually the one that didn't deserve it with a surprising level of cleverness, including his 'no pause' rebuttal. don't forget, soul rhymed 'islam' with 'islam'. nonetheless this battle displays both of these cats at their best. i understand that it could have gone either way but the ultimate 4-1 result paints the wrong picture. guess that's why losing a close one is sometimes worse than a slaughtering, in any sport.

It still amazes me that people think C won. don't get me wrong the dude is awesome and he was amazing in this battle but he has one flow but has amazing bars and great writing. But it's much more than that.what's Soul does is beyond that. His writing, vocal projection, bars, multis, performance, crowd control, aggression, the way he can go up and down with his flow to hit Peaks and grab your interest is far more intricate than What C does, plain and simple. Its not always about bars

LSFTD But thats the whole point you're missing. The only thing rap 'relies' on is bars. Yes of course how you deliver it is important, but what you say is immeasurably more important. PLus listen to the intro, dude is a natural on a beat. I've always said Cee Major is by far the best poet in DF. i dont mean about how many rhyming words or schemes you can do that make sense and sound good (soul), i mean how you can feel the emotion and build genuine imagery and connections to the lyrics.

Agree with edging it to soul, but I think watching it back more over time Cee's bars will stand out more. Bagnall's screwface game was strong in this one.

That was the best don't flop battle in history. Neither battler pulled any gimmicks or went into it thinking they are rap god's. This battle was nothing like shotty vs Tony and was so much more enjoyable. So rare to get so hyped off both battlers. So rare for a rapper (soul) to be on such a consistent quality streak. Couldn't have gone better, Cee major has nothing to be ashamed of, showed pure battle talent on top of actually making music. Soul did everything he can do whilst maintain relevant and creative angles. Perfect title match, i really hope british battling continues moving in this direction.

my 6th time watching this battle in two days, its fucking insane, i reckon cee was slept on a few times tbh but soul's pengame is just fucking madness... i dont see anyone in the uk beating soul, not even lunar, shotty, dialect or tony, the way he out smarts guys is fucking incredible, what a beast.. this battle deserves 100000000000 views imo.

Best battle I have seen in a long long time! I would have to give to Cee 2-1. I'm a massive fan of both. It's good to see such a high level and two battlers really hungry.

Jack Flash I am your biggest fan man, Your shit on O-N-T S-O-F-A is bananas, especially "Last Man Standing" and "Dangerous Pursuit"...if you guys get the chance, you should deff check him out, incredible....but I didn't agree with your decision on this battle, I also gave it to Soul, I gave him rd 1 (despite small stumble) and rd 3, with round 2 could have gone either way...but Souls 3rd round was mind-blowing, literally gave me chills. Either way, incredible battle by both.
