The crowd. The sound they make, in other words reaction, will let him know how far away from Soul he is; skill-wise. Think of it in terms of thunder/lightning; it's an insane bar.

Easily the best battle on Don't Flop to date. I've been watching battles on this channel for a long, but none gave me the emotions from each bar, 16, round that this one did. Shox is easily my favorite battler next to Possessed from RA from the old days. Big Ups to both Shox and Soul! What a fucking classic. Much love from the States!

If judges are going to decide based on "punches" then the winner is always going to be the same Bigg K, Ave, Shox, quick punch style. Whereas the intricate, longer schemes and personal wordplay of a rappers like soul is just as fire... Soul the winner for me 2-1, there's no one like him anywhere, and he was at his best here.

I'll be honest I'm normally for jokes over bars but god DAMN this battle had me cursing out loud. Absolute fire. Shox pulling out Shakespeare and Greek mythology and delivery like a hammer. Best Don't Flop battle in a long time.

Doesn't even matter who won, this is a masterful display of almost every attribute of battle rap. Best battle on Don't Flop that I know of, I think it will go down as one of the greatest battles overall. That being said, I think Soul got the 1st, Shox got the 2nd, and the 3rd comes down to preference.

The battle I've been waiting so long for. We see these changing of the guard battles in all leagues and this one was always gonna be a 2-1 for me. Soul handed on the title with such integrity. Used the second to have fun and the third to pass the torch. Shox is a fucking machine and totally deserving of being the next DF Champ. Looking forward to the next "once only a year happening title match"

I honestly can't understand how anyone has Shox winning. He did amazing, easily the best Soul has faced since becoming champ. Soul is just on a different level for me I guess, he breaks down people so well and uses their strengths against them. In his 3rd when he called out Shox being able to beat him up was best moment of the battle for me.

Agreed. Close battle but I had Soul with a strong edge when I watched the bootleg without the decision. Was stunned by Shox winning, but throw in parts of the crowd dick riding and company politics and it's not really about who's better as much as who can push the brand forward with new hype. Same with KOTD, shit's as 'rigged' as WWE.

I'm not 100% sure, but just from context this is my guess. Soul says something along the lines of "when you beef and then you speak like you spark men out, and then you ended up on stage doing bars and pouting..." Then when he says "i'm not the type of chap who, you will see in interviews saying they stripped me of my manhood." So when he said you would have to beat me up, to me it meant that Soul at least has the balls to follow up and get his ass kicked instead of taking shit from someone.

I'd love to see a sit down post battle discussion from both about how they felt during each other's rounds

On the real they are bith talented very much so, My opinion is shok out classed soul with sheer word play and finesse, But even so soul clearly shows great knowledge and actually humbled himself towards his opponent and united everyone in the room at on point which shows he is a worthy champion.

Instant classic, so many sick angles and so many shit hot punches.

I honestly see it Soul 3-0. No body though. Shox did his thing. Threw punches in bunches for sure. But to me Soul had the knee-buckling blows. "You're not the next one up, you're the last one left." Goddamn.

Battle of the year, I think ultimately Shox was that bit more hungry... but Soul's writing was mad - it's crazy how its at such a high level and still progressing - I mean, that third, damn!! I just hope Soul keeps that progression to his writing title or no title, because the guy been pushing the limits of battle rap!

Yo first time watching this battle, shox 1 round is 🔥 🔥 on any stage and it looks like his round 2 is going the same way If shox can learn to stay in that angry character and keep the intensity for all 3 round, he be one of the best..
