Huh, yeah. Blair might tease Soul, beginning to end, but he was always 100% devoted to Maka, just like all the other Weapon/Meister pairs. BTW, I find it interesting that the closest it comes to "Will they/won't they" is "Will they acknowledge that they've actually been a couple the whole time?"

@@bluesbest1 I don't think they are a couple. I thinks it's just an unbreakable solid friendship. But I can see it becoming an official couple down the road. They were just kids, they probably don't have the emotional capacity to keep up with their soul bond if it were to take on a romantic sense. Not as of the timeline of the story anyway.

There's a _lot_ of differences, to the point where practically the only things they have in common are the characters' names. I highly recommend reading it. You can find free pdfs, but always remember your adblocker and virus protection.

Because a lot of public songs are super simplistic or just weird or with bad melodies - mainly cuz there's no large story arcto represent - anime openings tend to have some symbolism/reflection on the anime itself, which makes it more meaningful to the story and itself, but also to us who have watched the anime.
