Apologies for the essay, but... I’m gonna be honest, I came back to this song because it had been a while. It... It made me happy. Genuine, incredible happiness, in a time like 2021. It made me feel like I was young again, where I could do things and have fun at the same time... It reminds me of when I was still innocent. But afterwards, I look back in sadness. I want to go back, as much as I know I can’t. I lost people, friends, connections, family, and passion over the course of these years. I’ve also been losing things I’ve feared losing. And yet, there has been good. There always will be good, whether it’s in an hour, a day or in a few months. There’s always good. And I can always remember the times of when I had connections with people over fandoms and other things, and be... Happy. Happy not that it’s over, but happy in the fact that those moments shaped who I am, for better or for worse.

+sealofbeyond og its because someone made a "dubbing" with the audio files played when two characters from the new and wildly popular game Undertale to make it sound like they were singing it in a way. Then a tumblr user (stfuadachi) actually voice acted/sang as the two characters and from there is where it got its massive popularity..

+sealofbeyond Here's a quick history. Juby's English VOCALOID cover came out in Aug 2014, a month after Giga P + Reol's original Japanese release in July. So it was out a year and a half and pretty popular already on Juby's social media (1.75 million views alone on her KZread channel). Then 2 Undertale fans liked the song and made cover's (Nyeh Nyeh version by Luxiay Kuragon and Shutupadachi had guys talk/singing Juby's lyrics for which she was credited) The covers came out the end of Nov--not even 2 months ago--and new Undertale copycat projects started multiplying like crazy (some crediting Juby) But I think some fans are not sure exactly why or how they got here...Hope this helps!..;)

I found this song by watching SirCutieYukis Minecraft role play. It’s called Orgins of Olympus. It was created by Thefamousfilms but she’s a character in it

Can’t believe this cover is almost 10 years old now

lol, one of my friends used this as his final project for a scholarship program this past summer. He just drew some of the frames on sticky notes, showed this animation to the class, and passed it off as his own. Smh, I'm thinking of exposing his ass at the Christmas reunion. I've seen some of his original art, and it absolutely sucks, it's nothing compared to this beautiful animation. Idiot even said the people singing in this are personal friends of his. lol

In defense of people complaining about 'nonexistant' undertale comments: The KZread algorithm cycles comments around after they've been seen a number of times, meaning that older undertale comments from when the video was more popular would have been shifted down, and people complaining about said comments would have been cycled up. Then, people started complaining about the other people who were complaining, and then the video lost a lot of its popularity and comments largely stopped cycling.

I can’t remember how long ago it’s been since I first found out about this song. All I remember is it was the Sans and Papyrus version of it lol- But this song always picked me up and reminded me of my friends with how we’re always there for each other. Months ago, I got into a relationship and it’s so wholesome and amazing how this song has grown for me from me thinking of/being with my friends to me being with my beloved. Not sure if I’m making much if any sense, here. But either way it’s always going to be one of the songs that I hold close to me ^-^

I forgot about this song for 3 years and the nostalgia I felt when I saw it in my recommendation was incredible.

I was listening to the Japanese vocals just before this. It’s crazy… how nostalgic this is. I can still remember people putting this with undertake when it was released. I feel really old, but I’m “still moving ahead”.

I've watched this and listened so many times and I just realized the buildings in the back pop up with the speed of the base (also the drops at the begging when Luka is at the wall drop after I believe to be the sound of sneer(?) drum thing) Its so satisfying

I'm an undertale fan, and to be honest this version is a lot better then the undertale cover, but without that cover, I would have never found this... So :/

I found this song years ago when I was in a toxic relationship with a heavy metal "its not real music if it's pop-y" type dude. I learned how to sing it in secret because I loved it so much. Fast forward 6-7 years and I'm out of that relationship and stumble on this gem again. The lyrics hit harder in retrospect, but it's a comfort.
