The first time I saw Heihachi here in Soulcalibur II, I thought the idea of a character whose fighting style was hand-to-hand combat being put in a weapon-based versus fighter felt a little out of place, but given that Soul series came from the makers of Tekken...

I think Heihachi is the best of the three guest characters. If you were familiar with him in Tekken, he feels almost right at home with the familiar and expanded move set. He helped me get familiar with the game and i like his inclusion here.

I think he's the lamest since he's already a Namco character. It stings more since the original PS2 guest character was supposed to be Cloud Strife, a cooler character in my opinion.

These graphics have aged real well.

Funny heihachi tekken voice actor during that time had a deep voice so I guess the soul team gave him the english equivalent as a deep sounding black guy Kevin Michael Richardson

His English voice may have sounded a little narmy compared to Jamieson Price having voiced him in Tekken Blood Vengence and Street Fighter x Tekken, but at least it was there.

Opponent: "So, what´s your blade?" Heihachi: "I am the blade".

It’s still bizarre hearing Gantu/Grimace/Joker/ Mr. Gus/Cleveland Jr’s voice actor as Heihachi here

Heihachi: This can't wait a month! Me: Mr. Mishima, please!

Heihachi Mishima voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson and he doesn’t even have a sword! XD

Honestly, as unlikely as it is, I think it’d be cool to see Heihachi again, or at least see his style come back in Soul Calibur as a stand-out fists-only character

Yes (in the credits he when under the name as Victor Stone) and he also voice acted Spawn in Soul Calibur 2

Heihachi's Japanese VA sounds like Old Jojo This English guy kinda sounds like a villain from a cartoon or movie I saw before. I can't figure it out and it's killing me

He was training with Kuma in the mountains and later on they stopped by a nearby hot springs resort, which had him later on finding a fragment of soul edge and after checking it out he cut accidentally cut himself with it and passed out waking up in 16th century japan then the rest was history.

Tekken 7 is the final game for both Heihachi and Ishizuka because he passed away about less than a year after the game came out

FUN FACT : HEIHACHI IS VOICED BY KEVIN MICHAEL RICHARDSON THE PERSON THAT VOICE SHREDDER FROM TMNT.

I'm surprised it wasn't Yoshimitsu to confront Heihachi.

My favorite SC guest fighter. And I'm talking across every Soul Calibur game that has had them not just out of Spawn Heihachi and Link. To Link is my second favorite, and I found Spawn kind of meh.

The only reason I know about the soul calibur games is because of the guest characters. Spawn, Heihachi, Link, and Yoshimitsu.

Heihachi: Melee weapons? What's that?

Heihachi Mishima, enters the fray not even Cervantes De Leon, can save Soul Calibur, from takeover

so Heihachi is only playable on the PS2/3 version, and Spawn only playable on the Xbox 360 version?

Raphael its more or less the main character of SCII so makes sense all guest characters had rival battles with him

Probably because they wanted Heihachi to retain his signature flavor from Tekken. Making him, essentially, Mitsurugi, but older, would not represent Tekken very well
