I began writing this piece shortly after my wife and I experienced a miscarriage about a year ago. It was a solemn time for us. There's a sprinkling of hope within the piece, but it is overtaken again by grief. I feel the emotion of sorrow is something we can all relate to personally... And if nothing else, sometimes beauty can transpire from sadness..
