Same, I first heard "The Anti Present" a couple years back and jt made me genuinely fall in love with death metal again, I know this entire new album is gonna hit just as hard if not even harder! I can't wait!
This album is going to be insane! I can't wait to see them tear it up live again. If you've never seen these guys live yet, definitely catch a show if they come near your area. You won't regret it!

I've seen them twice but then once or twice more I think they got screwed by some visa issue and had to drop off the tour. I hope to catch them again soon

@@HPLovethrash I remember that. The one tour was with Suffocation a few years ago and they had to drop off that tour, and the other tour was Summer Slaughter and they had to use a fill in guitarist because he had visa issues. I too can't wait to catch them live again!

Thier singer gave me a hug at a show they played in Illinois a long ass time ago. Such cool dudes and amazing live musicians.

@@papichulobr Yes, I wrote about 400 guitar riffs during 2019-2021 during the writing process for the new album. Obviously not all were used, but the best 15% or so are on the album.

Yup, Archspire is my favorite band, and I absolutely love Born Of Osiris. I've been listening to Archspire since Relentless Mutation and Born Of Osiris since A Higher Place all the way back in the early years.. This song was awesome, and SIC. Technical death metal and Black Metal are my favorite metal subgenres so I'm looking forward to what the Tech side of metal has to offer this year because it definitely delivered last year, especially with the new Archspire album, Bleed The Future 🩸🩸🎸

As much as I really liked Born of Osiris at the start of their career, they made a ton of terrible music. This sounds better than most of their music.

honestly they don't enjoy as many luxuries as we do and are often way more down to earth and as a result able to write more impactful lyrics. i acknowledge this is a sweeping generalization, just my general impression of people for whom english is a second language.

I'm talking out of my ass here, but most likely they translate it after writing it in their native tongue. Then, they find the least common verbage for each bit. Either that or foreign countries have better English programs than the U.S.

The kings are back. Who's doing guitar for the album though if Mikael isn't in the band anymore? Metal Archives lists the guest musicians, but Dean and Tobi are the only ones listed as "guitar solo" and the track number; everyone else is "guitar lead". Does that mean each track has a different guitarist playing the whole song? Also, Dean and Tobi's solos are stupid good

I wrote around 400 guitar riffs between 2019-2021 that were made into songs. I recorded all the guitars during preproduction, but I didn’t play on the album. The band already announced who played on the album, Sean H also did in the previous comment. Solos were written by the listed guest guitarists. There you have it. :)

@@Thulle3 nice! I don't know much about Ian, but hopefully he'll be able to write similar to Mikael, because their sound is just so perfect, and wouldn't want it to change too much. They're one of the only bands recently to carry that more groovy tech death sound, similar to the Nihility days from Decapitated. Thanks for the info, though! \m/
