I’m a sophomore and I just took the SAT. I’m so glad I did because 75% of the math has been related to our class work in Algebra 2 over the past 2 months or so. I’m hoping I got a good math score because I felt really good about that portion of the test and hopefully I will get a good English score next year so I can super score.

Some more advice from somebody who is about to finish grade 10: literally just do your work and all the practice teachers give you. I’ve seen the difference between my grades and people who don’t do the extra practice and it’s clear when they didn’t do it. Also, make sure you find how you like to study, so you spend your time more efficiently than if you didn’t. Other than school work, don’t forget to take time for yourself to relax, but also don’t procrastinate forever

i honestly wish i had this beforehand because im gonna be a junior next year ahah but it’s fine!! even though i procrastinated a lot and sophomore year was really hard, i ended up with really good grades so i think everyone can do well if you put your mind to it! or even if you don’t like me lmao you’ll still make it

I'm finishing my sophomore year and my advice is to manage time as best as you can and take care of yourself! The work load gets crazy but if you take the time to go to office hours, ask questions, and block time in each day to do work(i also suggest finishing work in advance to their due dates) you will definitely succeed! In addition, take this second year of highschool to learn more about yourself, be more involved in the school community, as well as build more relationships!! You're gonna do great!!!!

hey guys I'm finishing up my junior year ! my tips for new juniors would be to get to know your teachers well - make good relationships with them. at some point, i think you'll probably need to ask one or two of your teachers for recommendation letters, so build those relationships and that way you could ask your junior year teachers! generally, asking freshman/sophomore/senior is not the best since they won't really be able to see your growth during high school. also, I would prepare for the SAT, ACT and subject tests during the summer (into junior year) and take it at least once during your junior year. but, don't take it too many times - I would say 3 is the max. i would also recommend in general to take one more AP class than you did the year before just to challenge yourself, but don't overload yourself! take as much as you can handle. but yeah that's all I can think of so far. also make the most of your time !! don't procrastinate !! and try something new - be active at your school, so join a club or any sort of program as an extracurricular !
