@@rhurtadorh32 I dont know but i'll tell you this, theres no way I would spend $900 on a 4000 watt Hifonics amp. You can definitely do better than that .
Being in the car audio game since the mid 90s, you are the FIRST PERSON I have ever seen/heard that has the knowledge and ease of explaining things, not that I could memorize or fully grasp some of it, but damn, thorough and to the point! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and seeing your vids alongside the 2 big amp test guys now anyone can fully grasp anything and EVRYTHING needed and more than most people that have been around for decades, like myself! Thank you, liked and subscribed!

i love the way you are in-depth in your vids and instructional, makes things more easily to understand. Great vid man, keep it up and thanks!!

He's my hero. I started watching his video a year or two ago, with the intent on fixing some of my amps but most of all learning whats going on. I just haven't been able to Penny up for the equipment yet so I've fallen off a bit on watching.

This! Just found this guy. Genius and funny 😂
One thing for the Rockville's are that they are priced reasonable to RMS output. Same, your channel is a true gold mine for the car audio people out there. People need to be sharing you channel 23/7! I would like to see some of the so called top shelf amps dyno tested.
Thank you very much for performing this..... it's been a long debate and lots of people have been very upset with Rockville so I'm very happy with you actually going ahead and doing this video... It would be very interesting to see what you can actually do with some circuits to make this thing better
Remarkable, I understand every single word of what he says.... Great video and explanations. He really knows what he is talking about. Keep it up!!!

When I see peak Wattage I go blind. I can only see RMS!!!
@fd1596

The only problem here is Rockville's RMS ratings are full of crap too. You have to look at their "CEA" ratings in the small print just to get a ballpark number for the output capability of what it should produce, and not what actually produces. To make things worst, they even include a bogus birthsheet.🤦♂️

Best informative amp bench test/review I have ever seen. We need more!!!
Very informative! I love the way you break down technical subjects into easy to understand language.
This is friggin great man, I had no clue you did in depth Amp vids like this. I've been subscribed for years and stupid KZread never puts you on my feed. Definitely going on your page to find more. Need to learn more about the Amp workings and test equipment! Thanks!!!

OMG this is a good move hi teach, yeah you did good with this one I thought that buy in Rockville and playing under those numbers would be a safe thing to do for me 1750 is not a bad place to be I'm a daily bass head and the price that they sell them at is not bad either having you backing up the quality and replacement upgrades makes it worthwhile for me to buy this I'm sure it will have the same effect on others #Rockvilleaudio needs this video badly! @rockville @rockvilleaudio #rockville well done teach #rockvillereview #rockvillerepair #rockvilledead #rockvillamplifier

Thanks for the input, I know you're a busy man, several of my bass group out of Colorado subscribe, taking time out for fans, makes you top notch in my book, and your Zed 4s and build is badass......
Hey bro you are the only person who gives a good explanation of these electronics
i did watch the gem or bust prior to this and was ready to buy all sounded great but then this guy saved me the money, back to researching a 5 ch amp thanks
Smiles, I used to love the grocery store amps coming in with ridiculous wattage claims 3000+3000W's... and has a 10 amp fuse on the chassis. I love your explanations, right on, no frills, realistic.
Fast, smart and funny as hell. I love your videos.
YES PLEASE DO THAT!! Take a Rockville db16 and modify it to make the power it claims! That would be an AMAZING video and then Sell your design to Rockville!! Because obviously their "designers" suck! Thank you for another Brilliant Idea in another Brilliant video brother!!

Absolutely the best explanation of what the hell is going on in an amp. #manythanks definitely my favorite channel now
You are a scientist!! Amazing explanation
I've always enjoyed your vids, your super smart. Keep up the great work
LMFAO, you might have pissed away your chances of getting a sponsorship, but you did however make a few of us laugh! I personally appreciate the unfiltered, and dramatic comic relief of a review.
Great video with great info. Keep it coming very enjoyable content.
I usually watch your videos at 1.5 speed - that explanation was .75! You nailed it = the most consice explanation I've ever seen
This is from the same company that makes these Subwoofer drivers that eat themselves I think. Dishonesty in power has been with us for years. With over 50 years in AV, I have seen it all. Nice to see someone calls it as it is. So refreshing. This Rockville is a stone. Great channel man!
I loved this review so much that I Liked and Subscribed. Thank you.
I love this guy. Genius.
Dude thank you for this. Entertaining to watch and gives me some insight into the brand. Currently considering a RXM8BTB. Will continue to research the model
I LOVE watching your videos
This was refreshing to watch. I hope the new Orion amps have gotten better on build quality, I just bought 2 of the XTR 1500.2. I wish I could find a dyno video on that particular amp.
I’m from Minnesota USA. Your vid’s are definitely a treasure trove of valuable information. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Rockville DB5. Great job keep up the good work👌
I created all this Rockville nonsense originally !! 😂😂😂I’m getting a kick out of it now . Your vids are very informative too. You’re very intelligent and I would like to chill and listen to you for hours .
You know 4 years ago Rockville had a 1 ohm monoblock Williston Audio Labs dyno'd the Rockville RXD-M4 1500W on the SMD AD-1. At 1 ohm certified he only got 1267 watts, but in the uncertified he got 1546 watts, and in the dynamic he got 2128 watts, he also ran a .5 ohm test in dynamic mode and got 3154 watts. I'm not saying they are great amps, but that one for $150 seemed worth it for newbies. But obviously they have changed many things with ratings since then, that RXD-M4 was rated 1500 cea and 3000 rms, which as you point to is only them trying to sell as many as possible.
OMG You are funny as all out doors when you get in Rockville's business,,,,Keep up the good work and Thanks for being REAL
dude, i just bought an auction lot of oscilloscopes yesterday! haha i got inspired by your vids! :)
Awesome thank u so much i have the db comp 5 and i got it few years ago on amazon for under 300 and was very impressed with the way the amp looked , felt, sounded, everything i have it on 2 american bass xfl 12s dvc2 running at 2ohm and i have gain less then half bass less then half it slams! No issues so far love the amp. I noticed thr price has gone up considerably to bout 500 bucks but id still pay it knowing whst i know now.

I have two db comp5's, and two dbcomp4's. One of my 5's did pop some fets (not badly)- electrical wasn't up, and low voltage got it. No burns, no smoke - 8 fets and the gate resistors. The dbcomp series are beasts.
I know this videos is old but that walk through was LEGENDARY! F*cking awesome! 👊
I would like to see you do another test on another Rockville amp, then tweak the internals, then a final test.
Nice to see a guy that knows everything about the internals & not just test the power.
appreciate the video couple times I was forced to mount on box never doing that ever again after watching this! Thanks

You are the man. Thank you for the great knowledge. I think Rockville is going to call you. LOL
It is nice to see your take on them. You had my hopes rising there too. Too bad for them. Hopefully they just wise up and step up again without trying to bs everyone.

Great video man. You got skills brother. I’d like to see a video of you tweaking a Rockville amp to improve on it. That’d be awesome
Great video!
I just found your channel as suggested by Williston Audio Labs. I subbed due to this video. Great explanation ( even though I didn't understand all of it :^) ) But I would have subbed simply due to the shirt you're wearing. #DD4LIFE I'm anxious to see more of your content.
Great video good bass knowledge to have.
You are smart AF, my friend.
I love your videos! Is there anything wrong with adding silicone to transformers in general? I have a few amps that have very little securing the transformer. Thanks!
@barevids what kind of glue do you recommend to use to sturdy up those up to keep them from vibrating and limit movement?
