Yes, me too. I am a big American fan though. Really talented ladies! Dec. 2, 2020. I just keep coming back. They really are the best in Kpop. Though there are others I enjoy. Black Pink for example. I hope they have a new tour in 2021. I hear Tiffany is going to put out some new music soon.

사실 군대복무할때 Oh나 Gee나 마냥 걸그룹이라 이뻐서 좋아했는데 이 대격변의 폭로와 왕따의 시대를 지나고보니 참으로 변함없이 대단한 걸그룹이구나 소녀시대 멋있어!

Lately i've been seeing old performances and vids of the girls being uploaded recently. Is this youtube's way on saying their not so distant comeback? KZread is Tiffany's bestfriend afterall. But everybody seems busy. Sooyoung and Seohyun have dramas. Tiffany has a tour. Taeyeon and Yoona are preoccupied too and so are the others 😞.

Saoirse Daenerys in my case their videos keep popping up cause I always watch them and always search for them on KZread, that's how the algorithm works. Maybe that's what's happening to you too. No one is saying anything about a comeback… they're focusing on their solo careers, they need to, they can't live off girls generations fame forever they need independence …

I'm hoping at some point they'll come back for one last full comeback - it will be very difficult because all of them have such busy schedules (even Sunny, who we tend to forget does ALOT of variety shows in Korea and I'm guessing she's preparing for a new one). SNSD has always said they want to be like g.o.d. - stay together for the long haul and every once in awhile come together. Even a "flop" like Holiday sold over 300k -but I can understand their being cautious - each year it's tougher for older groups to come back, especially when there are so many newer and younger fans that really don't feel the same way (and support newer groups like Twice, Blackpink, etc.). I even hope one day (maybe for their 20th anniversary) things will improve enough so that Jessica will join them for a concert - after all Fin.k.l. reunited and I never thought that would happen in a million years.

Yeah, it really hurts me that newer generations of fans now, tho not all, doesn't seem to acknowledge nor respect them anymore. It pains me so much. They should know that Snsd inspired many idols now including their biases and stan groups. Snsd is like Meryll Streep of Kpop. Although this is just my opinion and i am not forcing this on anyone. I respect everyone's opinion and perspective and don't wanna offend anyone in anyway. Just wanna state my love for them without disrespecting anyone 💕

@@pippa9223 I understand where your coming from - I used to be the same way but because I am an older fan I understand music (and entertainment) always does this. I am a huge Rain fan (if I could be anyone I would be Rain), but I realize he's a producer - has his own company and also does acting. It upset me when he went from being the face of Kpop (in the 2000s) to a legend that younger listeners didn't relate to. BoA, even though she's a legend, isn't anywhere near the huge star she used to be (Taeyeon and IU are much more successful solo singers). At one time Madonna was the biggest pop star in the world - she's been passed but her concerts still draw huge audiences. I also realize that it takes a lot of energy to do live stages with all the choreo - and sometimes I think older Kpop stars pull back because they don't want to have to learn new choreo. We are very fortunate that SNSD put out so much music and so many mvs and CFs (at one point they had over 70 - and that's just SNSD as a whole) - I don't think any other Kpop group has ever done that (although I won't be surprised if BTS, Twice and Mamamoo end up doing that and more). I also think they were probably on tv more than any other kpop group (although a few years ago (think when they were doing Holiday) a show host commented that they couldn't afford to book SNSD anymore. I will always love SNSD, be happy if and when they give us a comeback, but support them in their individual activities - and above all, continue to listen to all of their music and mvs that gave me great joy over the years.
