🟥 GOOD GRIEF GOOD GOD SHOW HOSTED BY BRAD WARREN of the Warren Brothers
The Good Grief Good God Show is hosted by Grammy Nominee, and Emmy & 15X BMI award-winning hit songwriter of fifteen top #10 country songs, including nine #1's, Brad Warren of the Warren Brothers (warrenbrothers.com/). Join Brad monthly on the first and third Tuesdays, in audio or on KZread for RAW, HONEST CONVERSATION ABOUT SURVIVING THINGS THAT SUCK.
Following the immense success of his 20-year career in the music industry, Warren's family was forever changed following the loss of his firstborn son, Sage, to an accidental fentanyl overdose in 2020. Warren discovered a place of healing when he connected with his peers and those who have been through the familiar and often taboo topic of loss. His grief led him to this raw and honest podcast to peel back the curtain on the rarely talked about subject of grief-while offering deeply personal stories of his journey to living with loss-in hopes this show connects with those going through the long-lasting process of healing.

I was raised in a very strict family. We were raised Pentecostal. My Daddy pastored our church for 38 years before he passed and I have 2 sisters who have had breast cancer. One has since passed but Daddy’s opinion was “if you were living right you wouldn’t have this”. Since I turned 23, I continued to go to church and really studied the Bible and realized that, even though my family has disowned me, it’s ok to wear pants, wear jewelry, cut your hair, etc. I believe the 10 commandments are the rules we are to follow and have our own personal relationship with God. You actually know my brother, Sam Berger. He drove to Kentucky to see y’all a few weeks ago. I love you and your family so very much. The Isaacs have actually sang at our church, Spaulding Road Church of God. ❤❤❤❤❤

I really enjoyed this interview. My husband and I had a stillborn baby boy last July and that was the hardest thing to have ever gone through. I’m so glad y’all shared your stories and opened up about the grieving process because it’s a real thing. God bless you.

My mama’s family grew up in Eastern Kentucky and were Old Time Missionary Baptist. No instruments. My daddy was born and raised in Southern WV and was Freewill Baptist who rolled in the aisles, ran around the church when the Holy Spirit hit! LOL! Spoke in tongues! Nothing scares me in any kind of church! ❤ I grew up in the local community church quasi-Methodists in the 1960’s!

Indigo buntings have always been special to me. After I came home from my boss Al’s funeral a flock of indigo buntings flew down into the yard in front of me. Al telling me all was well. After my husband died, I had been to the lawyer, while talking to my sister on the phone I said I hope I was doing everything as he would want. An indigo bunting flew down and landed in front of me in the yard. Whenever I see one, I know he is looking out for me.

Sonya is one of the strongest people I know.... She has so much compassion and love for others and a heart to see people come to Jesus. She has used her grief to bring healing to so many hurting people. I love Sonya. Sonya said since God gave her a second son he was going to be a special boy and that Gatlyn is a Sweet and special boy. I love Gatlyn and I love to hear him sing and Sweet Evya too

I enjoyed this interview so much. It thrills my heart to witness the good that God has brought out of a bad situation. It amazes me how He gives us these connections of Heaven to help bring healing and comfort to not only ourselves, but for many others. God bless you both for sharing your stories.

Bird story! In the 1990s i was assistant manager at an ice cream store, produce and meat, restaurant. There were big glass window front and doors. We would be sitting or working by the windows. One day i heard a knocking, kept hearing it, and finally realized there were 2-3big black ravens or crows on the sidewalk by the window and knocking on it!! And EVERY morning, same time, same window the birds would be there and knocking!!!😮 About the story of the cardinal, I've seen the last year or so several people saying the cardinal, and butterfly, are your loved ones coming back to visit you. But that's unbiblical because when the rich man died ,asked God to send him or someone back to warn his brothers to change so they wouldn't go to torment after death,God told him they can't go back,a great gulf i think He said!! So we have to be careful not to get into witchcraft or something bad,not of God!! That opens a wrong door!! And with children,or babies passing, ive been told, heard different ones say we don't know what would have been in their future to face, maybe God took them to save them,or babies pass in the womb or shortly after because they weren't strong enough to live,we don't know but God knows all from beginning to end! And someday when we go beyond the veil we'll see all in all maybe!

My daughter was still born 36 years ago. In times of extreme stress and heartache this beautiful little girl comes and comforts my other daughter and myself. Do you have any thoughts on why a 4 lb baby girl comes to us as a 4 or 5 year old girl.
