I heard them in concert very recently after she lost her baby. I brought my 3 month old daughter, got to meet Sonya and she held my baby girl so sweetly. I have a picture that pops up on my FB. I can't explain the expression on her during that moment. Been listening to them since I was a teenager and she's one of my favorite gospel singers.

I had the same thing happen to me. I called my childhood Pastor to come. I asked questions about what would happen to “her”. He told me a preterm baby usually did not have a funeral, the body is disposed of as per hospital practice. I told him I didn’t want that for her. He told me I could have a service and a small casket. That is what I did and I am so thankful! I know my little girl is in Heaven and I will see her again one day. I am also thankful for my childhood Pastor by whom I, at nine years of age, came forward for salvation. He didn’t remember me, but God did.

I carried my first baby 9 months n she didn't make it, so I know the heartache of losing a precious baby girl. She didn't get proper neutriants either n you could see thru her skin to her organs. So not proper diet! Blessings to Isaacs, love your music 🎶🎶🎶 so much

This interview is so straight forward and honest with no baloney. I was doing a radio program in Tulsa and a TV program, but could just barely hear of the Issacs. But my programs were in the late 80s. And we were trying to be ministry more than a so called show, in fact we weren’t even allowed to use show in our vocabulary, it was broadcast, and would be severely reprimanded if we used any other words. We believe death and life is in the power of your tongue. But in my program I started playing the Issacs first and everybody else just loved them, so when I lived in Hendersonville Tennessee I started playing them heavily on my radio program the Gospel Power Lunch at noon on WYXE in 2001. . Of course jealous people and arrogant musicians and singers tried everything to destroy our music, and by trickery they did. The devil is a trickster,? But we got up, and produced our tv program, in Nashville.

Very honest interview, Sonya., I remember when my beautiful wife died from breast cancer, and I was very sick and in fact if I just wanted to lay there and not move, in fact if we didn’t have two young children I probably would have just stayed there. After about two years, I heard that old soft spoken familiar voice from Jesus. He said do you believe in me, you know people who don’t believe in me have no hope, it’s not just an old saying! I said lord there has been two things I’ve done all my life, I’ve sang a song and I’ve prayed to you., if you believe in me then you’ll see that girl again. I said lord I believe in you with all my heart. He said then get up you have a lot to look forward to.,

Loved this interview. So touching and informative as well as so heartfelt with honesty. I also know about Crohn’s disease as I have a granddaughter with it. It has been quite the journey and there was a time my son & his wife almost lost her. So thankful she is better but not totally healed of this disease . I pray one day she will be. I love listening to the Issacs sing as well as I have The Inspirations and The McKameys. Our family, when I was young went to all nights sings and we heard every group sing…. We loved it & still do. Blessings to the those who do sing for the glory of God and not themselves .

international pitch or continential pitch at A4=435Hz (C5=517.3Hz) with 12-TET was first the standard in France 1859 and in 1880s ratified in Vienna as a common standard European pitch.. Mentioned again in the Treaty of Versaille after WW1. This is slightly higher than 432Hz but much closer than modern standard and a tone more in alignment with the relaxed human voice and nature around.. It was the British in 1896 that modified the French standard from 435Hz to 439Hz due to temperature that affects woodwind and brass instruments. By late 1920s A4=440Hz were allready in use in the US by the influence of instrument maker JC Deagan. With 12-TET tuning you will always be slightly of on certain notes in the scale but with A4 at 432Hz your C4 note is just slightly sharp from 256Hz.. Interesting is it that both the Vienna and Paris opera were using A4=434Hz around 1830... I tried tuning A4 to 429Hz with 12-TET but that made the lower range of my vocal register (chest) a little difficult to balance.. One example is singing sultans of swing with Dire straits. (I am a deep baritone) To balance the low range and the high range for my voice I found that 434Hz works really well when using 12-TET. Interesting to note is that a lot of the chakra tones (7 chakras) responds very closely (some a little sharp and some a little flat) to the notes C,D,E G, A, B and F#.. when you tune A4 near 432Hz with 12-TET... Also the AUM or OM vowel is believed to be hummed at 136.1Hz which is close to C# when A4 is tuned to 432Hz..
