@@loganpasion276 they were together all along. She rescued him earlier in the movie. They just parted ways from a short distance temporarily. Jax probably heard the screaming and was probably watching the fight over a cliff in the distance, and ran to her after she killed her.

Nicolás Rosas Mileena is basically a clone of Kitana but given Tarkatan (Baraka’s race) genes. So in the MK Universe, Kitana and Mileena look the same except when Mileena removes her mask and shows her viscous teeth. That’s why Sonya thought she was Kitana

True but what’s unfair is Cameron Diaz was originally casted as Sonya and was doing martial arts; however, she hurt her wrists and had to drop out, so they got Bridgette Wilson who didn’t have enough time to learn the marital arts so she did her own stunts. If she would had more time, then it probably would have been better. However, Sandra Hess was more technical and agile in this movie

What makes this fight interesting, is that this is right up Sonya's alley. Rough and CHALLENGING... Physical and COMPETITIVE. I'm sure she expected nothing less.

This was one of my favorite fight scenes from my childhood, the mud fight totally made it even cooler seeing two women fight while muddy. I still have this on VHS tape since I was 8 years old, good times how I used to watch and enjoy the flips and fights but what bothers me is why was the statue monster involved for no reason after Milena was defeated? doesn't make sense. Nevertheless, I love the quote to the movie when Milena made her appearance against Sonya blade "Kitana? you wish."

This fight scene parallels the fight scene between Liu Kang and Reptile in the first film. Sony and Mileena fight while Jax is nowhere to be found. Similar to how Liu Kang and Reptile fought in the first film and Johnny Cage was nowhere to be found.

johana77 that’s ironic considering she served as Talisa Soto’s stunt double for Kitana and is credited as a stunt double for many roles in her career, including MK Conquest. As far as iv seen, the Asian dude was used for Sonya as can be seen if you freeze frame her spiraling in the air after getting kicked. Dana Hee is also an Olympic gold medalist and martial artist.

But a) she's not a gymnast and b) even stunt people like Dana Hee, Jackie Chan, Scott Adkins get stunt double when they become lead actors. In MK:A Dana was double by either Jack Wong or Kenji Tanigaki. There are pictures of them in the Sonya and Mileena costume. If I find them, I'll post them here

Sonya was such a powerhouse in this movie that she literally moved boulders when she fell onto them 0:37

She was the most sexiest and prettiest actress in the movie despite she had a mask.

Reminds me of The Power Rangers!!! The acting was cheesy, but I love 90's movies! Also, Sonya was such a powerhouse!!!

Some things I do like about this movie. 1: Alot more special moves were used along with Fatalities. 2: Showed quite a bit of characters. 3: Girls rollin around in mud. (Edit)4: Oh and the music is really good.

My favorite moment of this fight will always be at 0:37 when a BRO with a wig and padding on his chest appears out of nowhere lol ahhahahahaha

The only thing that could make this fight better is imagining they are fighting over you.

They should do a Mortal Kombat spinoff movie called Mortal Kombat presents SONYA with Amy Johnston as Sonya Blade telling her origin story about her joining the special forces and telling her story about her friendship with Jax and Sonya going up against war with Kano. The movie could be freaking AWESOME Amy Johnston is BADASS great martial artists.
