That tune that you're talking about is the reason why I bought this soundtrack. And I was disappointed because it didn't have it on there exactly the same.

Honestly, Sonya and Jax were the best part of this movie. The fights, the banter, you definitely got partner vibes from them. While I think this movie was... not great, these two will always be something that I will tout as a positive.

Jax in 2:48 I remember everyone in theater was cheering, I loved this version of Jax, he made it fun but became mature at the end. This whole fight scene is what made this movie honestly.

I always love the part when Jack's pushes the table at cyrax. The music drops the bass and you see the multiple angles of a backflip like, yeah, that is the best part

I literally got up and started doing karate moves in the theater. My dad was probably so embarrassed, nobody cared because this they thought this shit was awful but fuck it it was a good memory. I love this movie

Funny enough, Sektor is in the movie. The robot ninja the have come in for the sub-zero fight was supposed to be Sektor (hence the chest rocket that shoots out), but for some reason they color swapped him to be Smoke at the last minute.

One thing I must give this movie credit for; it made me become a fan of Cyrax. He’s my favorite MK character to this day. I had gotten MK3 months before Annihilation came out; and merely remembered Cyrax as one of the newer characters I barely played with. But I definitely believe his moments were the best part of this movie. I started familiarizing myself more with Cyrax after watching MK Annihilation

This was a video game movie done right. Drama, suspense, sure plot was all over the place but it damn sure was entertaining 💪

The action is not too bad, but man them flying over that fake green screen explosion at the end was hilarious

Sonya was so good on this movie, she doesn't waste any moves or opportunities to attack, clearly a really good fighter

I like this movie. It was my favorite MK movie growing up, because it had a lot of characters, and they were all very well depicted for the time. I grew up through the Genesis and SNES era, Gaming Magazines and Cartridges for Rent were still a thing, so any live-action adaptation were a reason to celebrate. Good ol' times. 😢

Notice how Jax only got the upperhand in ALL of his fights after Sonya was in serious Danger? Whenever she calls out for help or is in serious danger this fool suddenly gets a skill increase lol

This scene is SO ridiculous... but the soundtrack is SO GOOD.

@@jacobschweitzer1068 Seriously? Where did the budget go exactly? None of the actors in this movie are recognizable, except the guy who plays Raiden, I've seen him in a few movies. So, I'm assuming it wasn't to pay the actors.

That Cyrax outfit is awesome! Kudos to the team that designed that 💪

I just love how Jax' arms look pretty good for a 1997 film while Cyrax just looks like a $100 cosplay even by 1997 standards lmao

I fell in love with Sandra Hess aka Sonya in this movie.

People can say what they want about this movie, this scene + anything involving Sonya was AMAZING. She was unapologetically strong and did well in every fight

This movie was a whole vibes just like the 90's. ❤️ We cant go back but we can learn from what made those days incredible

I also love how NRS finally gave Jax a design modeled after the one he wears in this movie. In MKX, the clothes he wears are similar to the movie. Albeit, it is colorful at opposed to generic black.

I fucking LOVE JAX💪 & SONYA❤ duo in this movie, hands down the best version of them in any Mortal Kombat movie PERIOD 🤣🤣🤣

This movie was bad, but the actress playing Sonya was fucking awesome.
