So is the cropping really bother so much when vlogging and put on the stabilisation? Is that camera good for the type of videos I make?

exactly the reason why i'm here. i have a zv-e10, great for tripod and gimbal, but still too heavy for vlogging. i think i'll go for the point-and-shoot zv-1f for vlogging. especially for someone like me who is always on a tight budget.

I have both ZV-1 (old model and m2). I prefer the first, because I also shot stills. In the first one you have OIS, a faster lens and bulb for long exposure photography

Just bought a ZVE-10 paired it with a sigma 18-50 so far I’m loving it still have a lot to learn.

Can't wait to see how the ZV-E10 mark II is going to be... As an FX3 and A7IV owner with a girlfriend who is craving for a starting camera :D I would say the ZV-E10 is the best for someone who wants to start and do both vlogging and take photos... just gotta buy a couple of good lens like the upcoming Sigma 10-18 f2.8 and the (existing) 18-50 f2.8. They are light weight, sharp, f2.8 and the price is decent ($550-590).

Hey, Ben. Thanks for the video. I do a video podcast and am trying to do a multicam set up. I have had a ZV-1 for a few years and I am very happy with it. Right now, trying to cover the other two angles with phones. Besides the ZV-E1, if I were to one day have the money to buy two more cameras to go with my ZV-1, which of the ZV line should I go with?

Thank you for this review. I'm looking to upgrade from my very old LG G5 camera that I re-purpose for doing DIY videos. My main problem is that I can't see the screen if I stand in front of the camera so a swivel screen is needed. I'm thinking between ZV1-F or ZV1 mark 2. I think I will go with Mark 2. Will just check if they will have any deal during thanksgiving or cyber Monday.

Thanks for this video, Ben! :) Gosh, I was really looking to get the E10 and then use the extra money to get some lenses, but more and more I'm thinking about going for the Sony FX30. I like the IBIS, the interior cooling fan, and some other features. Yes, it costs QUITE a bit more, but I feel like it will have me happy for a lot longer with less FOMO than with the E10. Would love to hear your thoughts if you have the time. Thanks again!

Thank you Ben for the comparisons!! I remember you mentioning in one of your past videos that the ZV-E1 have overheating issues. That's the only reason why I'm not so convinced to get that one. :P Are you still experiencing the overheating issue at 4K?

Some interesting thoughts you shared here, always valuable insights from you, thank you. A part of me is glad I can't go outside vlogging, Although i do get a bit of FOMO about that hehehe!!! For me, I upgraded from the cannon G7x to the Sony ZV1, as I quickly found the canon far to limiting for a main camera (my own fault should have done more homework about it at the time) - mostly no external audio port - so no growth or chance of expansion with my creating. The Cannon has become my secondary "B-Roll" type camera.

Get a Gimbal mate. You're further out and the smooth footage will look amazing. Much better bang for the buck.

I have the ZV-E10 and the a6700 and I have to say that I never pick up the E10 unless I need a B cam. Shooting around town the E10 is about 80% usable shot whereas the a6700 is almost 100%. I know it is twice the price but it is also twice as good and the new menus are great.

Lol zv e1 can match it with more expensive cameras because of it's no crop 4k and 4k120 😂 and zv-1 has a feature where you can singularly highlight either the greens reds and yellows or blues i think 😊❤
