I recently got the zv-1 camera and I love it! Change the stabilization setting to standard, it’ll zoom out more instead of it being super cropped. I have an unboxing and videos of this camera on my channel. Great compact camera.

For me, zv-1 has everything needed to shoot videos and even movies. It has all Sony picture profiles and hlg. With gyroscope anti-shake. Built-in nd filter. Crazy autofocus. slog3 has a dynamic range of more than 12 stops.

Nikon D500 + 70-200mm 2.8 So use my D500 with a 10-20mm for KZread

Great Video and suggestions! How is the cage attached if it's not screwed into the quarter-twenty on the bottom? Does it just clamp around the camera in two pieces? Also, have you seen the magnetic filter adapter for this camera? It seems you can add VNDs to it as well

The cage is attached around the lens area by a screw which frees it from using the quarter twenty, also, the camera has built in ND filter on it

Great video man. About to pull the trigger on the ZV1 and wanted to know what accessories i need for my ideal setup. @@benjohnsoncreative A6400 is a fantastic camera for what you pay for - hoping to do some video content with it soon!

The Ulanzi wide angle adapter is junk. I couldn't get it to stay on the camera. It fell off every time. I even tried super gluing it on and almost ruined one of my ZV-1's. Other than that, I love this camera. I have 3 of them now. Great review.

The a6100 with the 16-50mm kit lens is $849 at Best Buy (US) right now…the ZV-1 is regularly priced at $749, currently on sale for $649…the wide angle lens for the ZV1 is $50, the selfie stick is $25, the Uurig Cage is $70, which makes the ZV-1 with this kit about $800, if you catch the sale at Best Buy, or $900 if everything is regularly priced. I didn’t add the extra batteries or the mic cos you’d get those either way. Somehow the math isn’t adding up for me. What am I missing?

@@OurFantasyLife the kit lens won’t get you the results you want You’d need a 16mm 1.4 lens to get a similar depth The value in the zv1 is that it has that crazy 1.8 depth which will give you the bg blur

Lol if your hearing the same things it means multiple people are in agreement on something. Also, I’d suggest taking a break from watching so much content, and starting to apply the knowledge more. Create more than you consume. The ring is a wedding ring. It’s a rubber material, flexible and light weight. Easier to wear when shooting and handling light stands/cameras/gear all day. 10/10 would recommend.

Ben I am new to the channel. Just entering the waters of content creation. I really like how you cover important things but don’t go into a super tech deep dive on these camera reviews. This video is 2 years old so are any of the newer Sony vlog cameras a better option than this ZV1?
