So after checking out the Sony XV900 and being very pleasantly surprised, I was very excited to checkout the Sony XV800. Now sony has defentily made some major changes. Overall, I like the sony XV800, and if you’re looking for a more mellow bass from your box speaker, this is a good option, but I still have some critiques about the XV800.

I have the XV 800 I play it when it's plugged in and charging indicator on . When the charging indicator goes off, after playing for hours, it says battery is fully charged. So, my question is that while it's plugged in and charging is completed, is it running on electric? Because while it's plugged in and playing it for 5 to 6 hours, battery remains fully charged. Please someone help me answering this question.
I should've waited for this before buying the xp500. Seems like Sony definitely stepped up their xp game. However, I still love my xp500. Good review as always 👍🏽. Cheers.
And nice job on the video I love watching every single one of them it gets me excited

I love how the Sony xv 800 sounds now. Sony just needs to get it right with they're smaller speakers cuz they're smaller speaker sound way too warm

For my taste,I love warmer sound...
Before I buy any Sony speaker I have to check your reviews first. Your reviews are accurate.
Can you leave this speaker plugged in and not damage the battery? If it's plugged into the wall and the battery is fully charged does it bypass the battery for power or does it still run off the battery?
Had it for a few days then returned. Still lacks the bass and sounds like a PA from a public swimming pool like the rest of the Sony line. But oddly it sounds fantastic when using as a sound bar. Also, it has the best Bluetooth connectivity out of all Sony and JBL partybox’s.
Can you do a review on the JBL partybox 1000? I’m planning on buying one in a couple of weeks and wanted your opinion on it.
Bro do a test on the new b&o A5 It’s small but it can compete with this it’s a beast
I really like the XV800, guess it will go on sale for about 450€ here, since the XP700 is about 370€ here most of the time. It can be a very good competitor to the Partybox 310, and maybe even it's successor, since the 310 is already 3 years old

That i love about Sony products They go on sell more often 🎉🎉
my experience is that the sony app can be a bit buggy regarding (un-)pairing multiple boxes, but it works fine when just using the buttons on the boxes (I have 3, 2 different models).

@@GYMCADDY yeah indeed
Wait, WHY did 900 release BEFORE 800?
Why is the smaller X-300 boombox light reacting to loudness changes in Megabass track reviews at the 75% levels? Seems like its on and off helping the “800” sound.
When are you getting the new Skullcandy ANC crusher
Can you PLEASE review the Dyzon Zone Headphones?
I like the light feature though.
What about XV900 vs 800? Which would you buy? 75% pool side usage, don't care about water proof rating, just sound quality. Or Party ox 310?

I say the XV 800. Battery has been improved as he mentioned that you can play for 10 hours with 65% volume and mega bass.

Pick up the 310. Simply the best option. Best sound overall. Also a lot better portability with the telescope handle and more solid wheels.

I agree I have both, even xp700 is closer to hifi speakers.
Compared to Soundbox and Beatboxx???
What’s the new Sony speakers
Personally I really did like the sound stage on the XP-700 I just highly dislike the amount deep bass it puts out or physicality like the 310 in other words and your saying the XV-800 is worse when it comes to that? But now I really want to see the comparison between thoes 2

It can still rattle stuff on the walls so no it's not worse

@@pixelreflectorpro I don't care for things to simply rattle my walls. It could be upperbass, midbass or deep bass that causesit. Is it quality bass that is mostly distortion free or its somewhat muddy.

Can you show some of the karaoke setting?
Sony is learning form its mistakes good job
I know these wheels aren't super rugged and small these wheels are a little larger than the XV 900 wheels
Does it have Karaoke 🎤 ?
If u lifted the speaker one hand is not a good speaker
Wait until the new partybox 410 or 510 or whatever they call it will just destroy it, lol

From what I see it isn't called the 510 it's called ultimate first partybox with wifi with airplay 2,chromecast,Dolby Atmos and Alexa most likely not going to have a battery because they claim it has "1,100w" of outpower you can pair to 5 of them now + hi res audio support

Old Partybox 100 already sounded better imo
The jbl partybox 710 blows this speaker away.
The wheels would be so incredibly useless to me. I'd have to walk in a very awkward position to reach the handle. I'm 6' 3" so yeah....I hate when companies put wheels but not a handle. Like what's the point? If I get this speaker I'd get some sort of slim dolly to cart it around, the wheels are useless without a extendable handle.
@GYMCADDY
Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it also needs a retractable handle, I was going to point that out in the versus video
imagine after a year of use there will be meatball sause inside those tweeters.. horrible design for durability

Nothing a soft semi-wet cloth can't fix. The tweeters aren't soft-dome, more like paper w/ wet resistant coating. So you can safely clean it.
At $648.96 not cheap, ThanksMuch!
